The issue turned out to be the O2 sensor, not the supercharger.

Aber dadurch ist herausgekommen, das zu viel Öl im Kompressor war. Das hätte wahrscheinlich irgendwann zu Problemen geführt.

How often should you change the oil in the compressor? can you get little dip stick to check how much should there be is in there? whats the best oil to use then?

I have a Mercedes W208 CLK with 2.3 kompressor, I'm wondering what problem did you had with the old one that you decided to change with new?

We could not pass emissions and were told it was the supercharger, it turned out to be the O2 sensors.....

Notice that at 28:40 the sensor wire is touching the auxiliary belt... Hope you tied it up before driving 😬

I don't think so, I bought 3 many years ago in anticipation of them being a fail point. They are much more expensive now than when I bought mine. I rebuild them and swap them out as she needs them.

Geht alles. Aber man muss auch einen Ladeluftkühler einbauen. Alles muss angepasst werden. Eventuell muss auch die Software im Steuergerät verändert werden. Außerdem hat der Wagen ohne Kompressor keine Antischlupf Regulierung! Das müsste auch nachgerüstet werden.
