Yes brother. I chose this track in particular for my maiden (DMT) voyage. @6:41 I was already catapulted into a dimension so foreign visually but it felt familiar. Felt like I dropped into a tribal ceremony somewhere before they went to war. The music was part of their pre-war "good luck" ritual. Shit was W I L D! 🚀🌌👽
Can't be, because I kept watching and see him vibing in his traditional front and back step and also hear his bass. I've just never experienced this particular recording of Triad. Amazing
@@3hirdeyedecalcified618yup, he’s long hair bass swaying back and forth holding it down. The percussion player is Thomas Haake, the drummer from Meshuggah
There’s extra drumming in the background of the song already behind Danny’s drumming on Triad, and I figure they just have fun with there openers drummers on stage, Tool is real as fuck for that
If you look at the video it must be different clips as Thomas H is on some then a unknown performer. Without doubt though I've seen a few different live versions of this & the only Drummer that belts out along with DC perfectly is Thomas H what a pair of Drummers imagine getting to see both perform together
@@w_stew8912it's not Tomas on this one, they played it with a different drummer each time. Tomas is the one with the black hoodie in the other live video
This song could play forever and never get old
I’ll never get tired of hearing the song kick in.
It’s like a beautiful kick to the teeth.
I was able to see Triad live twice. It was the most amazing song to have seen live.
Easily my fav LIVE Tool song. Totally morphs when played live.
I'm jealous! I only got to see it once. I felt like I'd left my body for a moment..
Holy shit. Can’t believe I’ve never seen this before. Best band ever been listening to them since high school in the early 90’s
my favorite album with its marvelous transitions from one piece of art to another 🌞
Yeah this album is phenomenal, but so are the others lol. I would pay to see any song live, off of any album.
Listening to this band a like riding field wave after tidal wave.
There’s no other bad like them
Thank you
Holy fucking shit this si soooo good! The audio and video are both amazing! Thank you!
I'm glad you like it. It s been difficult to synchronize, I m sure they played it differently every time...
When the good shit kicks in at 6:41.....

Amazing work! Thank you 🙏 🙏🙏
So much love 🛸
This is primal
Time ⏲️ to go to my happy 😢
Justin underrated in the performance
Forgive my ignorance, but is that him on the front set of small percussions standing up?

I was literally entranced holy shit that was epic
Never understood why they brought a percussionist to play over some already amazing drum. Just gets in the way
Sometimes was up to the proficiency of the guest... But I understand that sometimes was an interference more than anything else...

Fantastic upload thanks
I think that’s Tomas Haake with them, right?

Démentiel 🤩
Who is the band that is playing with them?
Pretty sure it’s Tomas Haake from Meshuggah.
Also the Bassist from Pain of Salvation on Synth.
