The beam is red if the aurora is an enemy, it's only green to teammates. But this is fitting with the 00 Gundam vibe it gives off, but to mention the green of the thrusters and rifle.
This mecha is not great for full blown firefights like some of the others, it's good for isolated one on ones. Which is what I do in game, I prefer to isolate and then let it play out.
Armored Core also has Energy Rifles.... Look at say... Armored Core and Armored Core: Masters of Arena on PS1, The Kurosawa Rifle. Alot of people in the armored core community complain about the Kurosawa Rifle because it drains the same energy source that your mech uses to boost with, so it's a completely tactical, skill based weapon. Not for the run and guns or trigger happy shoot first ask later types. It's more like a shoot first, miss, then next shot won't and theres no talking kind of weapon.
