Love this sooo much - we have been in our house for almost 10 years and I still haven't fully made it a home. It gets closer every day though.... I have been concentrating on decluttering... which hasn't been easy around 4 kids, 3 cats, 2 dogs, a shiftworking husband and my ability to lose interest and/or get distracted. lol. I love the new couch and I like the solid grey pillows!!!!! I think every session you can purchase solid colors like maybe burnt orange for the fall etc and they will always look good on the couch!! I have a few, non-scary Halloween decorations which are up during October, and Thanksgiving decorations which are up during November. Mostly I have general autumn decorations, which are up during Oct and Nov.
I put Christmas decorations up after Thanksgiving.

I love your new couch and my favorite pillow is the "My Pillow" ...I have been thru so many pillows and these are truly the ones i love and when you wash them they bounce right back to shape.

time was flying indeed. i was once your age and i thought the world will not turn around each day. Today I wonder where have all those years went by? you're lucky to be with your young family, now, i looked back and i am all alone in my house. My only son is now living his own life with his own family 6 cities away, my mom who was my sole companion in this 3 storey house passed away 2017. I clean and declutter but everything looks more cluttered because i can't throw/ dispose off old stuff that belongs to my mom and to me. Changes are good hope you don't focus too much on them, spend time and savor the youth of your kids. Alone but not so alone with my 2 cats and a dog.. God is my companion... blessed are you and your husband and kids 💙🙏. At least you got these videos to reminisce about in the future. I am turning 66 , praise God, for everything in my life.

Oh and yes love my blankets and throw pillow covers! Yes covers! Buy the inner pillows once and change the look for half the price or less. There are fabulous ones on Amazon for fall Christmas and everyday. I wish I could show you but I have buffalo check in grey and pumpkin cover for now. Everyday I have tons from Amazon and just pick and choose what I am in the mood for that season. Amazon covers are anywhere from $10-$12 for a nice cover and I got a 4pk fall and a 4pck Christmas cover sets for less than $20 each and great quality. Saves money on throw pillows. Each 4pack that is for $20

New sub here! I have been using the Bamboo pillows for a year and like them better than anything else I’ve found so far. We have bought all the types of My Pillows and hated them (even my daughter said they weren’t comfy 😂). Have also tried down, down alternative, memory foam, temperpaedic, etc. None of them were good for us. The bamboo ones have been the only ones that have worked for us all. I had neck surgery a few years back, and comfy pillows are a must! Hope that helps.

Just a comment. On your knives. If you store them in the block sharp side up, they will stay sharp longer. Also, hand wash instead of dishwasher. Same reason.

Watching TH-camrs made me realize I had waaay too many sheets. However I mix & Match my bedding. I always buy Queen fitted sheets and King flats. I can't get rid of them.
