This live jam session feel is exactly why Tae’s choice on song styles in layover are masterpieces. These are the type of songs you can change up in a live session and get other vibes. In the outro instrumental of slow dancing, we have now had a flute version, a piano version, a guitar version and now a saxophone version. All sounding amazing and a perfect fit with each version of the songs vibe. That’s why it was worth the wait for Tae to put out this album.

It's Kim Taehyung style soul, RnB and Jazz, he was a saxophone player and he adores Jazz, while the fans was expecting K-pop songs with funky dancing and pop vibes he surprised us with this masterpieces, he doesn't care about billboard or number of views or fame.. he wanted to be different from V of BTS he's unique and do what he really likes not what the audience wants from him.. He is not just a famous singer he is a true artist and for me layover is a piece of art

After his layover Album,i don't see him as an idol anymore,he is a musician period. If you are a huge kpop fan, you will know that the trends in kpop are always upbeat,crazy mixture of beats,autotune and heavy dance performances.This is what his Album,differs from kpop. Mind you,this is his debut Album but he choose to do what he love,not following trends but follow for what makes him happy and being true to himself. As an Artist musician,I am so proud of him. He is indeed the most unique,versatile and king of Jazz. His hardwork are paying off for his Album record breaking after records and doing very well on chart. Mad respect to the band that gives justice to the songs beauty. Just hearing their instruments makes me so happy and proud.Good job everyone.
