This album is a turning point for him and one of many ‘layovers’ to Tae’s final destination musically. This album is sublime and all the songs lend themselves to be versatile, they can be changed up in every live performance to give you different vibes. Also, Tae has always sounded better live. In this album we don’t have to contend with heavy auto tune so we can hear his beautiful vocal tone. This tiny desk brought back old school jam session from the jazz/r&b genre to todays new generation. Jam sessions always showcase the musicians and their artistry and show the fun they have. You could see Tae was so happy to finally do the music he wanted. I loved this tiny desk performance ending the release of all the songs in the album. Like the free style dancing the live vocal arrangements are also going to be ‘freestyle’. Stunning performance and exactly what I thought we would bring us. Can’t wait for kth2.

I loved watching all the Tiny Desk performances the BTS guys have done, and yeah, I also wondered what Miss Iris would have thought if she saw V's Tiny Desk video too. I wish someone would reunite V and her, maybe invite her as a surprise guest to one of his performances, then see magic happen between them again. It's been 9 years since she taught him to sing "Oh Happy Day" in American Hustle Life. She also taught Jungkook and Suga, so I'm sure it would be interesting to see how she reacts to Suga's "D-Day" performances or Jungkook's latest single "Seven".
