The song is about Lady Gaga´s grandparent's love story when, a retrospective of their love, as his grampa is going to die. The edge of glory is the moment before you die. So I am happy he is not in the edge of glory (heaven on Gagas terms).

I would like to hear him singing live more than two songs without autotune. Would he be this good? Or would he die after the second song?
Ok this guy has a great voice, a proper technique and a massive vocal range, but there's no clue in showing you can sing in a female vocal range, if you strain your voice. If he had to do a one-hour show, he would have to lower the pitch of all the songs. And it would be equally emotional, deep and stunning. So, don't destroy your talent, boy!

Autotune doesnt make anyone sing good, just makes the sound more proffesional, by making the voice blend with the music, if your familiar with how mixing works you'll know. Theres is such a thing as 2 much autotune, but if your a singer yourself you are sure to know that the high notes are way real, it takes ability to hit the highnotes hes hitting. So who cares if it has a bit of autotune, hes the one with the talent, am sure he used it for a reason.
Hey it doesn't matter to me so much as it does for the artist in this video that a capella, raw, meaningful, emotional singing will get you further than edited covers. Where's the uniqueness in that, you know what I'm saying?
Jennifer Fair indeed i know what you mean, all i can think of is probably itunes ya know, they probably just want to edit it into the mainstream "proffesional" sound of this era so people buy it. Ive seen other videos of him singing with less production so ik he can sing atleast, personally as long as he can sing i don't mind the production he uses, least he has the talent. But overediting can indeed butcher a great performance, agree on that.

@LucasCombsMusic The first lines of the song he tuned the wrong note on 'yea'. The interval he sings at the end is the wrong interval of the song and obviously was taken up a 3rd from the sung note. I work with all vocal music everyday, and we routinely use Auto Tune and Melodyne to correct pitch when needed on back ground parts. If done correctly, it's undetectable most of the time. This is heavily tuned, and you can hear it by listening for the 'robotic' sound his voice makes.

Not saying this is a bad thing but I agree I can hear the pitch correction used, this man can sing no question of that but he tuned the wrong note on "Yeah" in Tonight yeah baby its subtle but noticeable correction, and before anyone says my ear is not superior I am a music major at Duquesne University and I work with pitch correction software day and night.
