Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of the horrific mass shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, and I wanted to dedicate today’s video and song to the victims of last year’s awful attack and their families. In addition to being a beautiful song, I thought Lady Gaga’s “The Cure” would be a perfect reminder that in difficult times it’s more important than ever to stand together and be there for each other to help us heal. The problem has been up for a while and still not solved. Ofcourse youtube face other challangers in the future, but should have still fixed this on this amount of time.

Henrik Nguyen There's actually an easy answer to this:
1. Some people like videos before even watching it (myself included).
2. Likes are instataneously counted when the button is clicked. Views, however, are not counted until you've watched a decent percentage of the video (I think it's the half or 3/4 mark). Clicking play doesn't immediately count as a view. This feature was added as an act against clickbaiters. If the video didn't manage to keep you watching throughout, the system sees that the video didn't satisfy you, thus not counting your view.
I'm surprised that people still don't know about this. (Then again, TH-cam isn't exactly the best when it comes to communicating with people about changes.)

the views hadn't counted by TH-cam but likes, will always directly counted
