Oh wow owned the car for 3 years almost and didn’t know that feature I wanted to turn of that as sometimes rain heavy during the day but need to see clearly the speed and the dimming don’t helps so I don’t get a speeding fine, cheers mate you’re a legend!
Helpful video, tried it and worked a treat......have you any suggestions on why my clock and temp goes dim, goes dark completely then slowly comes back on? Appreciate any advice if possible, thanks
I have a 2007 yaris s with an analog speedometer and it doesnt even show rpm and i want that style speedometer can i put that style in mine and would i need to add something else because my car doesn even show rpm
Mine has stopped dimming and along with that my driving lights at the back don't work as well as the beeping for leabkng lights on. It was intermittent. Sometimes no issues sometimes have to fiddle with on off lights and current not working for months... So frustrating. Changed fuses and check what I can... Also battery light has come on but no issues battery is new, nor any starting issues.. I fear electrical but so lost
@@willdatsun I will check alternator soon, although its been like this for over a month. I will have to wait for the next time it occurs to check the front parking lights, as I woke up this morning with it all working correctly. Very weird Thanks for the quick response !! Wow!!

see if front parking lights are also not working. if so, check switch on steering column. also for battery light check alternator is charging
