- mike, doug, dustin and i take a quick creek run to end the first day of our trip. we discovered a cool quarry and awesome rock ledges and climbs.

I drowned my 400 a few years ago in a creek that was 8 feet deep had to let go to swim it flipped upside down and drifted to shore stood it up on end to drain the exhaust took awhile to start but fired it up and rode it back about 5 miles changed the oil and drained the gas and its still running like new Honda power!

Did you do anything to the spark plug boot if I put my 400ex through water it died and then starts after it dries up

@@davidblum_ have a custome air box on it for my open air filter, it is all surrounded by the aluminum box besides the back side which is closest to grab bar and exhaust

That wasn’t that deep I can float water wheelies on my 07 250ex up to the gas tank stock snorkel no vent lines ran or anything lol
With ur modified air box that was sketchy deep tho lmao

you sir do not know how to ride that quad... its a sport quad not a 4x4.... drive it like a ATV not a car
ouch i can only imagine the moister or some water getting into the casing , water mixed with tranny oil ….
Oil does not come out, water wont go in. The engine oil is the same oil the trans uses, no tranny oil in this or hardly any other quad .
