"When I'm in England, I say, I'm from Ireland. When I'm in Ireland, I say, I'm from Dublin. When I'm in Dublin, I say, I'm from Crumlin. When I'm in Crumlin, I say, Leighlin Road. When I'm in Leighlin Road, I say, I'm a Lynott."
Saw a an old Rolling Stone magazine with their top 100 guitarists choices. Nowhere was Gary Moore on the list. I never picked up another Rolling Stone in my life. Never will. He was a classic. Awesome talent.
Best version of this song ever!! The guitar solo sends chills up my spine every time I hear it as do all of his solos. Shred guitarists just leave me cold. They hit so many notes that mean nothing. Gary was the real deal and will never be forgotten.
The set up he had that night was unbelievable. Brilliant sustain and tone. The les Paul he's playing in this video sounds better than the others in this show. I know its not a competition but Gary blows the others out of the water at this show. They are all legends but Gary is top of the tree.
Gary is one of the few who’s tone is instantly recognized the others are SRV and Rory Gallagher imagine being a fly on the wall if they all had a session together
Anyone saying Gary Moore was underrated is way behind the curve . Gary’s brilliance had been recognised throughout the UK and Europe since the 70’s. For me , Belfast born Gary was simply the greatest guitarist the British Isles ever produced .
Gary Moore has always been one of my guitar heroes not many outside of Europe or the rock world heard of him and I know that we've all heard of Beck Page and Clapton but you can't count out Gary Moore either. This man was a guitar genius RIP brother.

Let's be honest. The guy could sing too.
