What a sad fact that Gary Moore's passing received so little attention in the world's press! His fans have compensated for that by their outpouring of love across nations. He was one of the all time great guitarists and his passion, touch, vibrato and great soulful playing remains in all our hearts!!!

Gary Moore is rightly recognised as a guitar great but Scott Gorham is vastly underrated. So cool and laid back but rhythmically stupendous.

Saw Gary in Portland Oregon in like 1988 or so and there were maybe 125 people there, it was a converted church and didn't have a ton of room. After the show we spotted the tour bus and his manager let us go on the bus and meet him, Bob Daisley and Eric Singer. He could not have been a niocer guy, signed anything we asked to get signed and sat and just chatted for 20 minutes. It was truly a night I will never forget.

Greetings from Milwaukee, WI, USA! RIP, Phil and Gary, one of the greatest bands ever! It's the wrong song, but I remember Gary saying this session is the only time he remembered Scott Gorham actually enjoying playing "Black Rose!" I had a good friend who never heard of "Cowboy Song," and I thought, "Huh?!" Of course, I had a "Jailbreak" T-shirt as a kid and between "The Boys..." and the tile track, I don't know which I liked best! Thanks for the memories!

Just listen to his playing, he never misses a note or off key or fumbles his finger missing a note, he is absolutely Mr Perfectionist. I think he was better known in Japan than the states. Definitely way underrated, under recognized.
