Why do these men keep wandering off alone?
Tired of his family?
That's how they lived
I'll get slaughtered for this, but it's based on science. People often think it's a 50/50 chance, that a boy or a girl will be conceived/born.
It isn't. On average, 105 boys are born per 100 girls (and an even higher number of boys vs girls are conceived, who don't reach the point of being born).
This higher number of males born (and conceived), seems to be because males are more likely to die than females, at every stage of their lives. So more need to be born, to even out the gender balance.
A large part of higher male death rates, is because men are far more likely to take life-threatening risks. And so, they die more often from misadventure (compared to women).
I guess he thought he knew the island well enough since he had been there before. I hope they find him.
Im from Greece the mountains there are all rock and many are sheer drops to the ocean. Also its very hot if he was by himself they'll be checking the valleys. You can rule out any foul play that's rare. Hope they find him
Something is fishy here!?? A local man knows exactly what happened to him!
Local men DON'T HIKE DURING HEATWAVES.
Of course they know how dangerous it is.
Just recently a British guy by the name of Michael Mosley went missing, also in Greece.😮
Mentioned in the video
He was found, had a heat stroke or something. Never hike alone, or in extreme weather
Michael Mosley went lost in Symi, Greece. Albert here went missing in Amorgos, which is hundreds of miles away from Symi.
@@IAmTruth-xj4es But still, both got lost in Greece within a week or two of each other.
Why is things matching these people showing up on MY devices?.. During the time of their vacations various websites and at times even an add here and there would show up and was in the language of where they were at. -🔥-
These guys arent wandering off. They are just a little extra confident and getting slammed by the heat. The last was a public health communicator, this guy a sheriff - these are guys that probably do have a higher-than-average understanding of risk, which translates into a way over-estimation of capability. Basically, "Since I understand the risks better than most, I should be less susceptible than most."
This is why its so absurd to think we 'need' more advanced intelligence. Dont even listen to what we already know.
Well you know Greece 🇬🇷 has always had some …undercover relationships going on 🤫🤐👍
What month is it..
One just returned from Europe to nyc ..itching… 😮
He may have been well known and perhaps hated by someone... very sad.
He was well know, but the most hateful on greek islands is THE SUN:
Please, don't underestimate heatwaves. Always be protected.
Middle aged men shouldn’t wander off on Greek islands is the moral of recent news stories.
These guys are way past middle age. They’re elderly and shouldn’t be hiking alone in the first place.
Alot of foreigners think all Americans are. rich, vacation in America 😮
I'm sorry, but we think that sometimes you overestimate your endurance.
Don't hike in summer. It's too risky.
Please do what locals do to stay safe : beach, siesta, dance all night.
Hope they find that good man alive. It has been very hot there, prayers for the search party.
Did he have a stroke previously and is that why his smile is up on one side, only? I ask bc maybe he had another stroke, hit his head, and fell off a cliff or something?
Prayers for a safe return 🙏
Maybe his boyfriend in Greece knows something?
Yup...in his special place
Natural causes yeah right!! Trying to save tourist industry
U are an old man wandering in a windy island with no big trees for shadow or anything at 40ºC++ what do you expect to happen
Absolutely it was natural causes. Gee, it must be a miserable life for you, going around convinced everyone is out to lie to you. What exactly do YOU think happened?! Somebody randomly murdered him, on the perimeter of a beach resort (where witnesses would have been a strong possibility?!
Look at the evidence. He was an older man, walking for hours in 40C heat. There was no shade; he didn't have much water, and the rocks would have reflected even more heat. He was also known for being adventurous, and pushing his body to the limit.
Indeed, he'd been hospitalised before, for spending too long in very cold water. He'd also acclimatised himself to the cold (he even advocated cold showers every day, for health). But the flipside of cold acclimatisation, is you cope less with heat.
He also told his wife he didn't feel well, and wanted to return to the villa. If he was already starting with heat exhaustion, he could easily be confused and take the wrong turning. Or he could have been feeling better by the time he reached the town - and decided to explore.
So is it really surprising (given his history and personality), that he simply got himself into physical trouble in these conditions? Far more likely than some random person waiting at the perimeter, to randomly murder him. Indeed, it would be massive luck for such a murderer.
They just happened across a guy, who had a history of pushing himself too far (so that could be an 'excuse', for how he died). So get a grip. Accidents/misadventure are far more common than murder. Not everything is a conspiracy.
Prayers
58?..looks 72
I wish people wouldnt hike in hot weather.
He looks a bit OFF, his mouth, his eyes, not all rhere. Maybe he was injured while a cop. They should tell us about his mental state, instead of guessing.
Stroke maybe
I’m actually glad this is on TH-cam instead of instagram cause everyone would be focused on his nose
And yet, here you are, the only one focused on his nose.
@@h.b16😂
Did he take the clot shot?
Nah he’s just a drunk misinformed hiker, also stop living in the past it’s pathetic and sad.
Sounds like he found what he was looking for. 😮
this guy is a crook and they got him
It’s not looking great but hope they find him.
Did they tell him to stop resisting?
Is he DL?
🤐🤐🤐🤐🤔🤫
Guy is used to being a crook in the US, tried to play his power card in a different country 😂
Karma is real
Some WebSites in Greek language use to show up on MY Google results but no longer is...during same time this man was on vacation. -🔥-
Oink oink
Corrupt sheriff actions catch up to him
Well said
Perhaps the Greeks are tired of USA claiming they came up with the Democracy system and Greeks not getting credit for who actually came up with it?😂😂
It's not for laughs.
I'm deeply sorry for what happened. And I'd like to warn tourists to NOT HIKE during summer.
cool
Why do people leave the country and act like they should be treated special. You left. Period.
A retired cop continuously vacationing in Greece? Wow his pension must have been comfortable lol
Probably pulled the tyrant cop attitude with the wrong local
100%
There are NO LOCALS HIKING IN THE SUMMER.
And that should tell you why tourists shouldn't hike either .
He might still be alive. If it was a 3rd-world country like africa or mexico, there would be no chance.
yeah, Africa is definitely a beautiful CONTINENT.. ironic given your username 🤡
And you know that how. Spewing junk.
@@sandraphillips7827 Greece is a safe country, most of European countries are. If go to Mexico, can assume easily that was killed, for example..while in Greece, accident would be the first assumption..Of course, cannot exclude the second assumptions for either place. The initial comment only expresses an opinion, not a fact.
Given the circumstances I disagree he might still be alive in any country where there isn’t any major predator animal roaming. Africa (continent) and Mexico are huge compared to Greece so there are a wide breadth of circumstances to account for.
Anyone who still misclassifies Africa as a country has no business weighing in on anything more pertinent than chicken nuggets. Pls go away while the adults converse pls kiddo.
Isn't there a story about seperating the men from the boys in greece? 😂
Ask around the bath houses or athletic clubs...
