This 87’ C10 gets LOWERED and a NEW SET of US MAG WHEELS!

- In this video we tear this 87’ GMC SIERRA apart. It gets a 3 inch lowering spindle up front and a 3 inch front spring hanger and 2 inch drop shackle. We also rebuild the front end with new wheel bearings, rotors, and brakes. We get the frame prepped and painted. And get the bed back on the truck. We also put the new 20 inch US Mags Bullets and start prepping the truck for clear coat. Stay tuned for the next video on the truck where we clear it and reassembled it.

I have to say that you are the best video I've seen on how to do it, it is natural, with dedication, and above all trying to teach things, my suggestion would be that you put the technical specifications of all the products you use, as well as small manuals on how to do it, maybe if you register everything you can make a catalog and sell on amazon, parts, pieces, products, in short there are a lot of people behind these pickups. And last but not least, thank you very much for answering me about the size of the tires and rims. You are great.
I do 5/7 drops on all my squarebodies. Always do a 5" flip kit, C-Notch, and 2" shackles. Great ride.
What size rim do you run with that drop wanna do same drop on 22s but don’t want to deal with rubbing

I’m thinking about putting rhesus wheels on my 85 c10 what tires are those ?
What size and brand/model tires are those? I'm thinking about ordering the same wheel sizes for my 78 but I'm having trouble narrowing down the tire size.
I was excited about how you lowered this one because that's exactly how I plan to lower my 87 shortie - because I'm looking for a decent ride. But you were right: it just wasn't quite low enough.
Does removing the overrider leaves really change the ride characteristics? I would think removing them would make the rear pretty bouncy.
Also, do you think 2.5" drop spindles (what I intend to use) will allow the inner lip of a 15" wheel to clear the lower a-arm ball joint?
Taking the overload spring out didn’t change the ride that much, it made the back ride a little softer. You may have to trim a little on the lower control arms to run the spindles with 15 in wheels. Thanks for watching

We do have pressure washer, but it was at our other shop when we filmed this video. And yes, we did actually torch the the leaf spring hangers off the frame. Thanks for the comment, bud.
