- In todays video I take another stroll through the streets of Tirana and was shocked by what i saw and learnt. In the beginning of the video things didn't go as planned but later on it got better and we achieved some goals. Watch ti the end- kindly like share and subscribe.

Nice video Kish, really love the way you are showing my country with the different perspectives, not only showing tourstic sports. Also saw some of your other videos, i guess you also noticed the staring game of our beloved citizens. We love to stare at other people, it like a normal thing here which i really dont like and when you are a foreigner you will get more stares for sure. It doesnt mean something bad, people are just curious and looking what are you up to. Wish you all the best and hope you have a nice time in Albania!
I totally get it. It's new for me being stared at like that but I understand its just curiosity and not in a negative light. Thanks fur watching

The bunker is actually the tunnel grid underneath the buildings, that dome shaped entrance is recently built, representing the typical above ground bunkers spread all across the country. Some 200.000 of them. A fortified country
Of course we don't practice Muslim coz its not our religion it was forced from Turkey occupation ....So we don't go mosque....we are just Albanians and religion is not our thing....we just all believe in God wich is the same for all Albanian people...
only the Albanians accepted Islam to save themselves as a nation. That's why we are over 60% Muslim. And we are proud of this religion we have, we Muslims.

Excellent video my friend. I very much enjoy videos of my country through the eyes of a tourist. It seem to me that tourists tend to highlight things that we Albanians do not think much about in our videos. By the way, these old building blocks are build during the communist era. They look awful from the outside and if you get in, the stair cases look really scary (like from a horror movie) but the apartments are really nice. I do book often Airb&b on some of these near the center (I am Albanian born but based in the UK so a visitor like you when I am in Albania) The Pyramid of Tirana was build initially as a museum of country's dictator Enver Hoxha and his daughter Pranvera Hoxha was the actual designer of the structure. It served several purposes from a conference center to a NATO base. That street you said it does not have a name is Toptani street, which leads to Toptani complex and Toptani castle. You are absolutely correct about the communist regime being similar to that of North Korea. It was brutal! Anyway, thanks for making this video, keep up with your good work and happy new year 2024.

11 minutes in you said you was in the city centre, that's not the city centre. You was actually walking in Brryli, thats where I use to live. If you follow the canal to your right for about 10 minutes then you would be in the city centre.

Now about the staring is not everyone stares depends the level of intelligence or knowledge. No everyone cross the borders. That’s not true. Albanian language has a few loaned words here and there but the base of the language is still Albanian. It has its own originality and authenticity. That’s why none of our neighbors can understand our language. 🇦🇱

How come you have not corrected the statement that Albania is in the Baltics? The Baltic States are Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia; the countries that face onto the Baltic Sea, which is in Northern Europe. Albania is clearly in Southern Europe, and several countries away from the Baltic.
