I am. Just over 5 mins into thos and already this is thr most informative video ive seen on the superlight ive seen in thr last 48 hours. Ive only been interested in and googled the hell out of the keeway superlight because i might have just bought one on ebay.... Because ive seen good reviews. I own one of these. I am happy with it. But it's a bike for the city, not for the road otherwise you ride slow roads (50/60 km per hour in a sunny afternoon, you know) ... I bought it some years ago, 5.000 kms and it's ok. Maybe the most beautiful 125 cc bike.

In my country this bike came with name Benelli Motobi with 200cc fuel injection engine, and this is most comfortible bike i ever try

One question though: how does it drive with a passenger?
I have the 125 Superlight Cruiser Ltd which is great; only problem I had from the very first day was difficulty in starting. Eventually discovered the spark plug which was put at the factory was set at 25mm; the correct setting is between 0.07 - 0.09 of a mm which is a massive difference. I replaced the spark plug with a new one and with the correct settings I've had no problems since. I've had mine at 92mph and it was still pulling away, it was a one off; normally sit comfortably between 60 - 70 mph which is great. Mine is a 2014 plate and still like showroom condition; I cannot fault.

tamirkr , I thought that at the time; therefore two of my friends; one which has a 1100 triumph, the other a 1200 BMW went out with me to test. Both of there speedometers read the same mph & verified my speed and that my speedometer was working fine and accurate. Let me know your next line of reasoning.

Yeah, the speedometer ends at 140, so no way that you went anything near that speed, let alone 149 KM/H

original style review. very good video. but a top speed of 90kmh (56mph) leaves it uncomfortable to be on the highway with. around town is fine.
odometer inaccurate. is the speedo the same? tho 2200 quid is really cheap if it'd hold up an ugly Betsy better than a 150cc scooter
Yes please. Oh sorry you not selling, but if you were I would straight away. It is best ever video about it no doubt. Buying one soon. Please tell me was exhaust decoration already there as well as others or that is bought after. 100 kh and hour do for me 😁
The motorcycle was have a previous owner. The previous owner decorated it with special stickers. This is not my motorcycle, I got it from a motorcycle dealership, and for this riview I filmed and edited for my TH-cam channel. I'm glad you liked the video, thank you so much!
According to the test I did, the motorcycle does not reach a speed of 100 km / h. Maximum speed 90 km / h (single rider)
Hi, I’m impressed with the motor and looking to get this one actually. Quick question, what’s the difference between a cold and hot engine??
The advantages of one are the disadvantages of the other:
1. Air cooling has less parts, so it is easier and cheaper to maintain, and considered more reliable (less systems = less chance of malfunction).
2. In air cooling there is usually no temperature gauge, so be careful not to load it continuously for a long time, and not to load it on a particularly hot day.
3. In air-cooled the power is lower (because the efficiency of the air-cooled engine is lower).

Hi, as a owner of a limited edition superlight 125 keeway, I would have to ask a question: has any of you ever had any problems with the clutch in the idle state (does it tend to slip producing craggy noises on the chain)? I am in dispute with the Italian importer for this problem but they tell me it is an unsolvable because is a structural problem. In the various reviews of this bike I have not heard anyone with this kind of problem ... Please help and advices will be appreciated... Thank you!

I'm not sure this is a problem. Maybe you can adjust the clutch. Only a mechanic who sees the problem and hears her voice can decide, perhaps you can consult a neutral mechanic.

Hello Paris! Thank you for the compliments. To the best of my knowledge there is no button that activate hazard lights.

The engine oil does not have an oil tank, the oil sits at the bottom of the engine box. The drain screw is located at the bottom of the box and opens toward the ground. The screw is made of hard metal, and the box is made of soft aluminum. A lot of beginers mechanics break the thread in the box, so you have to be really careful. At the first time do it with a friend who well knows the job. Filling the oil through the cap of the oil level gauge.
Hey! Amazing video, the best superlight video on youtube! I am actually going to buy one of those and i really needed such an expertized video. I still have one question: how affected is the top speed by the passenger assuming that he is 1.80 meters and somewhere like 80 kilograms. Thanks a lot!😅
Thank you for the compliments. The motorcycle does not excelnt in high power, and it is not that different from the other equivalent 125 cc motorcycles. Rider and passenger, 80kg each, and together 160 kg, for short rides I suppose it is acceptable. It certainly greatly affects the top speed.
would love to say the keeway superlight was mint bur all i had was problems need a fuel pump from the tank and a ECU are ACU i hate this bike all i have had is problems

Not fun at all. What you tell can be a story even in the big brands. Coincidentally I fell for the worst statistic too, when the engine in my Honda Innova broke down after 39,000 km, the reason was a fectory failure in the crankcase production. Look here:

Hi, I bought KSL last week and every time I start up front lights are always on,can't find the switch on left handbar to turn them off...hope is not electric problem with wires...thank you
Please ask your local agent. To the best of my knowledge, the lights turn on when you turn the switch to "ON", which means that what you describe is normal. Enjoy your new motorcycle

The motorcycle I was test is not my motorcycle. I took him from the agency only for the test. I meet people that are very happy with their Keeway. Cost benefit ratio is very good . A reliable motorcycle, built simple, and therefore also cheap for maintenance. It is cheap to buy Keeway and spare parts are also cheap. I'm not a salesman of Keeway OR other firms. I love motorcycles, and I like the idea that even cheap motorcycle can be good. I'm sorry to hear that you do not enjoy your motorcycle.

I do not recommend buying a used motorcycle without a payed opinion of a qualified mechanic. Please go to a qualified mechanic and ask him for a check before buying, with a warranty for that test. Only an expert who sees the motorcycle can answer your question accurately. As a principle, second hand always has risks that are not typical of a particular model or firm. Try to buy as cheaply as you can, because you may spend quite a bit of money on it. Check that there is a mechanic in your area who handles this type of motorcycle. At the right price, such a deal may be very successful.

How long u can drive it before it needs a break to cool down
This is true for any motorcycle that has an air cooled engine. It depends how long you rideon with a full throttle, it depends what temperature of the air during the riding, if you ride a long time at low speed at low gear, and how much you load the motorcycle (Weight). Because a lot of data is affecting how the engine is warming up, I can not give you unequivocal numbers(How long...). One of the problems with air-cooled engines is that they do not have a thermometer. In general, you can feel less torque and less power, and when you feel a decrease in performance, you should let go of the gas and let engine to cool down.
which is better for a newbie with 5'6" height, the superlight or blackster?
As far as I understand, in terms of height (1.67meter), both of them will feel for you the same. The Blackster is larger(250cc), weighs more, and more expensive.

For anyone installing an alarm system, the electrician wires the alarm bulb wires directly to the special LED on the instrument panel.
I would like to buy a cheap 125 cc cruiser, but I am 191 cm tall. Which is the best cheap crusier for tall people?
It is difficult to answer such a question. There are several parameters to consider: 1. Comfort sitting for a long ride (the Cruiser are almost uncomfortable for all riders). 2. That the legs will come down till the ground to support the motorcycle while it is standing still (the Cruisers are all have a low seat and therfor have no such a problem) 3. That the knees will not get stuck in the handlebars (should be tested while sitting on the particular model). 4. The models available in your area.

where I live these bikes are the most up for sale in second hand apps etc.. that makes me a bit suspicious of buying this bike, is it even any fun topping max speed at 80 kmh???
Your suspicion is natural. Before buying, check the motorcycle with a qualified mechanic and check that for the money you paid for the tester you receive a warranty certificate for what the tester found. The Keeway motorcycle is a generic Yamaha-based engine, and is recognized as a very cheap to maintain. It is very cheap to buy as a new, and even cheaper in second-hand. Air-cooled engines, and in small volumes, are very sensitive, so don't buy without paid opinion of a qualified mechanic - before buying!!!

@@ryderwilson7955 I did the test riding review series with Chinese motorcycles as an amateur motorcycle reporter, it's not my profession. I got the motorcycles from the main importer in Israel. This is common in the magazines industry that motorcycle dealers or motorcycle importers gives motorcycles for review, or for the purpose of writing reviews. I did not receive any money or any other payment to write and tell my story. The accessories attached to the Superlight125 can be ordered on Chinese motorcycle spare parts websites. Try AliExpress. I share the information, you make your decisions at your full responsibility. Thank you very much.

According to the factory 90 kph. The speedometer saw 110 kph, while cars continued to bypass at high speed. I did not measure the speed with independent device.

The SuperLight is for Light-Cruiser riding NOT for sport riding. I estimate that factory gave a real figure for the top-speed.

במצב טוב ובמחיר הנכון(אופנוע שמור במחיר נמוך מהמחירון) זאת יכולה להיות עסקה טובה.
וכמובן לא לוותר על בדיקה אצל אותו מכונאי, בדיקה בתשלום, עם חוות דעת כתובה על מצב האופנוע. שתדע בדיוק מה אתה קונה. ובהצלחה!

קיבלתי אותו מהסוכנות לצורך רכיבת מבחן חד פעמית וסיקור עיתונאי לא פורמלי. זה היה בתקופה שערכתי בלוג שעניינו היה אופנועים קטני נפח. אני עדיין הבעלים של הונדה אינובה מאה עשרים וחמש מוזרק , והשנה רכשתי בנוסף סי-בי-אר מאתיים חמישים אר, מודל אלפיים ושלוש עשרה, ופתחתי עבורו ערוץ יוטיוב נפרד, ראה כאן:

Does the choke turn off automatically when the engine is hot?
No, in this model, with a carburetor, the throttle operation is manual. The same lever that is used to enrich the mixtures is the same lever that needs to be returned to normal after the motorcycle heats up. See here:

In the video I demonstrate starting at a temperature of about 23 degrees Celsius, without having to raise the choke lever at all.

Inspection of the motorcycle should be done by a mechanic who knows the model. The checklist is very long, includes dozens of items, and of course requires knowledge of the subject. Not something that can be explained in an online response. Try looking for an article or video that fully explains the topic.
