Seeing x so physically and mentally exhausted of fighting really gets me because I know that x had always been a pacifist at heart throughout the series and never liked fighting zero was probably the one convincing him that fighting was the only way to have peace one day so I can't imagine the toll it took on him to keep fighting alone for nearly a century
to be honest both were tired of fighting but Zero was build to fight so he could endure it more, Zero breaking point came in X4 after killing Iris and finding out his origins, even in the last Megaman, X8 Zero feels happy at the thought that after Sigma finally being put down and with Lumine neutralize maybe now he doesnt has to fight anymore
@@bujubanton3829 well X ended up needing to fight for way longer than Zero so we got to give him props there. Zero was out of the fight for about 100 years and yet X still continued to fight

So basically the reason the real X didnt want to occupy the copy was because he dont want to fight anymore, i guess he earned the right to be selfish after what he have been through.
Poor X. You can't help but just want to give the poor guy a hug. From the moment he was birthed he was forced into a war that he did not want to be in but felt was necessary to fight for justice and peace.
Totally unfair to him, because he was not built for that reason and that was not Dr lights legacy

The first game ending with the theme that the second game starts with is a pretty smart & cool continuity.
X and Zero is Alive as A cyber elf and then a Biometal. The same as the Four Guardians.
nah dont blame X he was never built for war. especially in the elf wars where both reploid and humankind were pushed to near extinction. anyone would want to stop fighting after all of that especially a pacifist like X. Zero on the other hand was built for combat, to be the wilys ultimate weapon. he's a lot more suitable for things like this than X was
Realistically, I know people say this is not the succesor that people wanted for the X series, but honestly, it's still some of the best mega man games (not to the level of the first 4 x games, classic mega man, and legends (games thar were around at this time ), but still great games, and more people should give these a shot and play them.
And not only that, but zero finally got his own series (which was the original plan for mega man x)

well, cuz some Wily-wannabe scientists are making the reploids, who are DNA-compatible for biometalls...... which means Models H ; P; L; F and Z can become next bosses for the bearers of X and A. Hope there will be much more better story, not like in the previous parts......

At the end before the staff credits when Zero cuts that reploid open, the beginning of that song played and my first thought was, "OMG THE DOOM THEME!" XDXDXDXD
