I've been using TyTy principles in everyday life. For instance, instead of waiting for a traffic light with a green a socket i might as well just skip it and go for the next attempt. My life has been going way faster ever since, Ty TyTy!

All this nonsense about going for a bath over a shower. You can literally double your APM if you skip a bath and go for a shower. If you build into a Steam Proof Mirror you can brush your teeth, shave and wash with a fantastic clear speed.
FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! No ranting without a point loosing the train of thought and giving 10 mins of advice in a 1h video!!!! I like the concept of the classes but 'm sorry THIS is the only way to give usefull points without ranting ^^
Genuinely Thank you for all of your PoE University (and all) content you make in general. I have played for a year +, but constantly learn new things through watching you. Not to mention its like having a friend in the room. You're awesome, and I hope that you know that people really appreciate you.
I have been practicing my vortex occultist league start these past days and watched his vod of that 2 times (I've also before watched other stuff before) and have really come to the same conclusion, he is very straight forward and extremely informative. Also I really like that he explains stuff that he has explained before for the 1000th time, really shows how much he cares.
How can you not be happy about a video that comes from (to me) the most experienced player in game (Zizaran) and a guy who literally provides substantial information that coulda been prolonged in a 10min video to gain youtube views in a 1- 2 mins video ,explains everything with patience and takes his time seriously in game to provide you with the best possible knowledge (TyTykiller)... Huge Respect to both of these players, GGG did well recruiting ZiggyD, i hope for the sake of this game that they will have similar ideas for these 2 players.. Thanks
Just started leveling properly* after Zizaran's video with Tytykiller coaching him through the basics of racing. Since I started back in Harbinger league, and until the start of Heist, I've been killing almost everything unless it was a league thing I wasn't sure my character would survive. Because of this, I think I've only finished act 10 on one or two characters; one being based on Enki's Arc Witch. Gear only feels slightly harder to come by, but I suspect my difficulties there come from not thinking very far ahead. Link pressure feels like a constant looming problem, alongside resist pressure. It's so painful to dump all your chromes into a well-linked item only to come up empty handed. *Note: I still feel like there's no "wrong" way to level, of course. Currency drops seem to come easier when you keep your level close to the zone's, but overall liquidity feels pretty similar at a given act since I still have yet to get a unique to drop that was worth even 1c.
The point about making your way back from the endgame while planning out levelling is really spot on. It really makes you hit less 'walls' in leveling this way as you can plan ahead for them without switching the plan 10 times.
Since Ziggy had Tyty on a little over a month or so ago I've been practicing getting faster, not speedrunning necessarily, I don't have the mentality to try and eke every little second out, but I've been practicing once a week or so and leveling has gotten so much faster and smoother for me! I decided to pop up a run to practice for Launch tomorrow, and I got to my GC mines in the duration of this video! Now, is not even quite finishing Act 3 in an hour and ten minutes speedrun worthy? Hell no. Is it exponentially faster than I was even just a month ago? Hell yes! Much love to Tyty for being on with Ziz, and to Ziz for all the cool PoE University content leading up to Heist!

I just wanna get the campaign in under 5 hours, I'm not looking for any sort of WR, or to be an actual speed runner, I just want to push through leveling before I want to grab myself by the brain stalk and smash my brain into the wall out of boredom. I might start using one of the split counters to measure myself so I can improve. Love when you do stuff like this Tyty and Ziz, its really nice to hear a well-prepped presentation from an expert. GGG, please make leveling less boring.
tbh it didn't seem like it at the time but when we only had 3 acts it was much more enjoyable to do them multiple times until maps. Actually was more fun too and I can't really say why.

IMHO PoE started to jump the shark with The Lord's Labyrinth (2016), 10 acts (2017), continued with Betrayal (2018) and cluster jewels (2020) but that is a discussion for another time. I agree with you. My reasons for why the game felt more enjoyable when we only had 3 acts than 10 are: * Less back tracking * Less shit on the ground to get hung up on (Looking at you Acts 5 & 10) * The copy/paste mentality of Acts 6-10, even if it fits the narrative, feels lazy. Acts 6 - 10 _could_ have been unique but stead it just feels like a cheap rip-off by re-using previous acts. * The 10 acts feels like artificial time-gating. Sure there is only 1 more act from when we had 3 difficulties * 3 acts (10 vs 9) but now add in The Labyrinth * 3 difficulties and the grind is longer. It is this combination of things that just slow down the leveling process. Sure it only takes 4 hours to get through all 10 Acts now but every zone progression when we only had 3 acts felt more meaningful. Progressing through every Act today just makes us ask _Is it over yet?_ The constant nerfs just pours more salt on the wound. It gets tiring having to look up league starter builds because the meta is always changing -- just because. After 7 years I'll probably look to move on to playing other games such as _Grim Dawn_ where I don't have to deal with all of this bullshit. Or maybe I'll just go back to standard and play at my pace -- when GGG isn't resetting the fucking Atlas.

honestly it's pretty fun if you get into it a bit. I was at 30 min and after 4-5 runs im at 23--25. then again if you ever watched his vods, he is fucking lightning fast. i wouldnt compare myself to him
my a1 record last league was like 28 or 27, now it is 23-24, you just need to improve, some time sinks i ve discorvered are town shopping, inventory/gem management, killing mobs inefficient(like too many small packs, too many overall, too few)
I was always amazed at how fast these guys can craft/buy/sell everything they need in town and then basically melt act bosses like they're nothing with what they crafted with a very limited budget :D
it takes me 10 hrs to get through the acts. if i applied every tip here and executed flawlessly it might shave one hour. Every tip was only shave a second or two.

Hi Bob here, I don't have 2 wives but 3 kids and maybe bit more than 2h to play I would say I can squeeze 3-4h if kids go to sleep early. Now my goal is to get trophies on PS4 (mainly: clear atlas (so run every map) and kill shaper, uber elder, uber atziri) it doesn't have to be fast mapper as I just want to finish those fights and get trophy before league finishes. Is that possible with one build I can invest my time in? What would be that build? atm I am playing Righteous Fire hat is great but started struggling with red maps and bossing is not that great so I am not sure if I will manage the fights I mentioned. Would love to hear from someone with experience on how to tackle my goals and with what build/s. Thanks

If you wanna learn layouts. try ssfhc. in half a league i managed to reduce my "start to kitava" time down to 4-5 hours from 8-12.

I find the single hardest thing in racing is: Trying to manage your inventory whilst moving fast, in the correct direction, and killing stuff for xp.
Just FYI with the waypoint trick you can leave the waypoint menu open when walking over, there is legit no need to close it at all.

So wait if you keep gems in your off hand they still level up ?
As long as they're equipped anywhere on something you have equipped they still level up, even if you don't actually use the spell.

he binds movement to the spacebar as well as left-click so he can do inventory management while moving
