Awesome build, one suggestion? On the rims and wheel backs I always scrape away the chrome and try not to paint where they'll mate when gluing.
Testors triangle shaped glue (platic weld) bottle with precision tip works great. Just lay a bead of glue on each inner face, sandwich the tire between them, and use a small clamp until dry.

Tyres are directional and a very poor fit. Works ok one side only.
Built mine in white with a weathered and rusted finish.

how did you glue the sideview mirrors to truck

I used a thicker glue I found at hobby lobby. I don’t think it’s for model cars but it held alright. It helps if you lay the truck on the side so the mirror just stays in place with gravity.
