- Welcome Back Traveler Family! There is nothing like a ROAD TRIP! Especially if it involves BBQ! We share our FIRST Time at Buc-ee's for Snacks, Gas and a Great Big BBQ Sandwich.
Buc-ee's is not just any ordinary convenience store, it's a Texas-sized attraction that's a must-visit for anyone traveling through the Lone Star State and now Florida! Here are some reasons why you should make a stop at Buc-ee's:
Cleanest restrooms: Buc-ee's has a reputation for having the cleanest restrooms on the road. You can expect to find dozens of sparkling clean stalls, with high-quality paper products and air fresheners.

I would never have completely unwrapped the sandwich, just unwrap as you go. Tod and Michelle, if you like French toast, try dipping the French toast in buc-ee nuggets! Saw a recipe on Diners Drive ins and Dives, where chef made Captain Crunch French toast in a restaurant where I came from. I tried it, delicious! Not something you want to eat often! Lol!
The place was huge! And I wholeheartedly agree, should have picnic tables!

Buc-kee’s is awesome. The bathrooms are the cleanest on the road and gas is cheap. The .89 soda was so big we drank it all day. Glad you had fun!

So cool seeing you guys at Buccees. My daughter and I are obsessed!! We love all the different holiday themed t shirts. Love the camping supplies, the unique gifts. Love how they say brisket on the board! It’s such a fun experience!

I went to my first buc-ees on a road trip to Disney and stopped at the Daytona Beach location and loved it. Now, I regularly go to the one in Katy. The have amazing hand lotion an snacks.
We hit the Dayton one and the St Augustine one on our recent trip to Asheville. We definitely prefer the Daytona one. Thanks so much for traveling along and we hope you have had a wonderful weekend

So I live in south Texas and we have Bucees everywhere. We always stop when traveling. They have the best bathrooms and snacks. Glad you got to check it out😀

Thank you so much for doing a Buccee's video. I've been wanting to go to one, but living in PA there are none on our typical roadtrip routes. However, with flight prices so high we're driving to WDW in Aug and one of the very few upsides to that is that we can finally stop at a Buccee's. My husband hasn't ever really heard of it and doesn't understand my excitement so I can't wait to show him this video!

Here is the recipe to make nuggets at home
Carmel Puffed Corn
2 bagged Chester Puffed Corn
2 sticks butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon baking soda
Place puffed corn in large roasting pan. In 2 qt saucepan bring the butter, sugar and syrup to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Add baking soda and boil for 1 minute longer. This will cause mixture to foam up. Stir well and remove from heat. Pour over puff corn in roaster. Bake in 250 oven for 45 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes. Remove from pan and spread on wax paper to cool. When cool, break apart and store in ziploc bags.

Todd.. I bought a tray table that fits into your cup holder for a road trip we are making. I bought it specifically for my iPad and phone but it would serve as a great way to keep food off your lap!

OMG, now have to try Bucee's. We usually stop at South of the Border and Stuckey's on our way to FL which are a throw back to my childhood road trips! This place looks awesome!

I live in Ocala and it will take forever for the Buc-ee’s here to open since they have to build a new exit on I-75. I have been to the FL locations and also one in GA. Love it!

Hi Todd and Michelle! Omg!!! Isn't Buc-ee's amazing?!? It's a must do for us every time we drive down from New Jersey. My husband and I laughed so much while watching this vlog. Your reactions reminded us of when we first tried the brisket sandwich and beaver nuggets. My husband is sitting here saying he wants to go to Buc-ee's right now. It was way OVERRATED for us. We purchased many of the same products and none of their food items tatstae good. Their hot food sucks. It's just a thing I guess.
