My husband and I watched your video with big grins on our face--your family is super adorable! We haven't made it to Buc-ee's yet (our daughter lives in West Texas, almost five hours from the nearest one in Fort Worth) but we're plot...uh...PLANNING something for the next time we fly out from California! Thanks for the awesome video! You put big smiles on our faces this morning ❤
We are headed to BucEes on Thursday , Thanksgiving day 😂😂 On our way to Port Canaveral for our Merry Christmas Time Cruise on the Fantasy! First time in 50 yrs not being home & cooking for Turkey Day 😢 So excited to go 🙏🏻🙏🏻😎😎
Interesting way to spend thanksgiving! I wonder if their offerings in the bbq area will be a little different on that that day?! Have an amazing time on your cruise 😊
We loved our visits to Buc-ees on our month long road trip last fall. Like you, Oregon doesn’t have one and we miss it. Bring Buc-ees to the west coast!!!
Hey Miller family!! Love y’all’s videos! Yes Buc-ees is pretty cool and HUGE! As a Texan there’s tons of them here and they’re ALWAYS full! Food is actually pretty good too. There’s so many things in that store you could be in there for a long time. Kolache ( co-la-chee ) best way I could think of how to pronounce it lol 😂.
Thank you 😄 as much as we would love to live nearer to one, it does make it something we can look forward to when we are in the area of one in the future!
Koe-LAH-Chee. It's originally Czech, but Czech immigrant Texans made it take root here in the US. It's a breakfast fast food staple in Texas, with Kolache restaurants all over the state.
Is it sad that a gas station is on my bucket list of places to go? Cause Buc-ee's totally is. 😂 With Lindsay falling in love with the whole Tennessee Georgia area I'm wondering if she would end up going to a College in one of those states? Or is that too far away from Mom and Dad?
I love your “southern accents!” 😂 Welcome to Georgia! Savannah has amazing pralines and fudge too! Come back soon to GA! It’s a great place to live. 😁😉 Oh, and I lived in Texas for several years. West, Tx has a large Czech population and they pronounced it (cole ach es).
Thank you!! And you are so sweet 😄 That means a lot coming from you 😊 Thanks for that. But what is it? A type of pastry? We’ll have to try one if we see them again.
@@AdventuresinMillerland No Bucees; but if Lindsey would like a job, she should put an application in at Trader Joe’s… much closer to home & a much smaller store. My sister has worked at our local TJ’s for 10 years… good pay & they are good at working with school & life schedules; in general. Love you all; and the channel ❤🥰🙏🏻
I used to live in San Francisco. If you can take our heat and humidity in Texas that would be a surprise. But everything is bigger and cheaper in Texas compare with California.
Yeah not a fan of heat or humidity 😂 Georgia & Tennessee are a bit nicer from my experience in all 3 locations though. It’s not too hard to acclimate though!
The Miller's losing their minds in a Bucees is the greatest content I have seen all week! Edit: Lindsey needs to go to Vandy, or Belmont or UT; she would love Tennessee! OK there is GA but really TN is much better!
Someone needs to take my Texas Card away because we have tried a good chunk of products here and they're all just not that great lol. My favs from there are the Banana Pudding, the Pickle Pork Rinds, The Chamoy Gummy Bears, the Peanut Brittle, the Roasted Pecans and Beaver Nugs (The Cinnamon Sweet ones.) We are just spoiled with really good BBQ and Breakfast Tacos and kolaches from the local places in San Antonio etc. But it's a fun spot to stop by to stretch your legs and for the really clean bathrooms! "prah-leen" for Praline. 😊
It’s totally ok to have different tastes for things! We were surprised at the flavor of the brisket, and how tasty it was - they pump those sandwiches out like crazy! So for a regional gas stop… they are amazing. Have I had better brisket before (at a legit bbq place) - Yes! But for what it is, it’s pretty good. And those nuggets. So good. And yes - prahleen 😂 Found that out in New Orleans… but when you’ve grown up always hearing it as “prayleans” it’s hard to get over that.
Being that you are from California. If you move to Tennessee or wherever you will find that there is a huge difference between grilling out and BBQ. Southern BBQ is a messy good eating of chicken, pork ribs, brisket and other types of southern food. People that move to the south may find it to be a little bit of a food and culture shock. And of course the one true southern non alcoholic drink is good old sweet tea.
You’re talking our kind of meat! I smoke some killer pork ribs and I just had some killer Texas brisket when I (Chris) was there this week for a work trip. Our girls love southern sweet tea. It may have come from the south, but us Californians sure do love good food! 😄
We call all of that BBQ on the west coast. Must be a regional thing! Kinda like how the south calls a soft drink “coke”, no matter what kind of soda it is. Or the north calls it “pop” 😂

So happy to hear that 😄 Hope you both get to make it to one in Texas!
Welcome to our great state of GEORGIA!!! We love Bucees!!!

I ran upon your channel, such a nice family and so funny !!!

Yess!!!
We live in Southern Oregon now but are originally from Texas. When we go home to visit our family, we always have to stop at Bucees.
So fun!!
Thank you 🙏 ❤family visiting ☝️BUC-EES 👏👏👏👍🎥👋☮️
😊
👍🙏👋
Not sure that I’ll ever get to a place in the US that has one but it looks amazing. Our gas/service stations are so boring here!
It’s definitely one of a kind. Bummer that Australia doesn’t have anything like that.
They do pay well! This is one my list of places to check out on day!

Interesting! Thanks 😊
Bucees is always a must-stop when we drive down to Disney! I’m obsessed with the potato burrito 🌯 sounds weird but so, so good!!
That doesn’t sound weird at all! I could go for a good potato burrito right about now! 😄
The first Buc-ee's opened in 1982 in Clute ,TX 👍
Did hear that it started up near Houston. Good to know!
Wow! Never seen anything quite like there, looks fun though
It was amazing 😄
I love Buckees food and snacks 😋👏❤️
That’s crazy! Ilona and I were JUST at that Buccee’s last month! Small world 🥰
😳😄 that’s crazy! Hope you both had fun there 😊 And have a fun thanksgiving!
Buc-ee's is the real deal! It is a bit overwhelming but we're excited to get back for another visit. Great vlog! 👍
Overwhelming in the best way 😊 Thanks! Hope you both have a blessed Thanksgiving!
@AdventuresinMillerland Thanks guys. A blessed Thanksgiving to you, too.
My daughter and her husband live about five minutes from that
Buc-ee’s. And yes, they definitely know how to get your money in there.
😂
There is a Buc~ees in Daytona on PGA Blvd.
Yeah - saw there are a few in Florida!
I live in UK 🇬🇧 and would love a Bucees over here great video thanks
That would be interesting to see!
You should try wawa. It's like compact buc'ees (without the bbq), and there's 2 about to be 3 buc-ee's in florida ;)
If we see one in our travels, we’ll try to check Wawa out! Thx 😊
Hey there adventure in millerland family I’m Eric and nice to meet 😅❤

Not at all 😂 It’s come up in conversations for sure but she still has time to pray and think that decision through.

@@AdventuresinMillerland they usually have sausage in them. They are kind of like pigs in a blanket but way better!
The pictures and paintings around the bathrooms are for sale
Good to know!
Its crazy how a gas station can provide so much content on TH-cam!
Right?! 😂
Wow! That's a day out in itself. Is there a West Coast equivalent?
Unfortunately, no - nothing like a bucees here 😢

😂 all good schools!
It’s pronounced coal-ah-ch-ee. I think you said it right the first time. We have a bucees about 10 mins from our house and we LOVE it!
Thx! Good to know 😄 and JEALOUS!!
Co lah sh
I wanna go!
We wanna go again! 😂 Definitely check it out if you are ever near one!
Chris impressed me with his Gen-Z vocabulary - “cheugy” is not a word I’d expect him to ever say 😂
Haha! Thanks. I pick it up from our girls and other friends. NGL, I have to look up most of the words meanings 😂

fyi the first time you said kolache you said it right.
Thx! Good to know 😄

It’s the cost of Bucees
Those nicer shirts were for dogs not toddlers😅
😳 That’s funny! Wonder why they were next to onesies?!?
That is a Grill. Grilling outside is not BBQ. Hamburgers and hotdogs are grilling out. BBQ is more in depth and more work.
We call all of that BBQ on the west coast. Must be a regional thing! Kinda like how the south calls a soft drink “coke”, no matter what kind of soda it is. Or the north calls it “pop” 😂

Welcome to Calhoun!
wow bucees is an awesome place 😊i subscribed and liked i hope we both get famous
