Doug, still, to this day, you are my favorite Football Player. I admire the courage you have to play with big men despite being undersized, and the passion you displayed in every single play. Then, for me, you were one of the best QB's ever. You could stand next to Brady or Montana. You were that good. If you are under center for my team, my team will have a high probability to win. Still to this day, I think that Bills team, could have gone to the Super Bowl and maybe you could have led us to our first Super Bowl win against the Rams.

Miami were the defending champions and were the greatest team in college history back then. This and the ND game in 88 were the only time they were beaten, thats how dominant they were. 1300 yards of offense almost 500 yards each for Kosar and Flutie, unbelievable!

Flutie took the Bills to the playoffs with his wild west broken play style and they did him dirty because of being 5'9" with a weak arm.
The average NFL coach is not brave. The average NFL coach, if forced to choose, will always choose certain failure with an ironclad excuse and a guaranteed second chance, over the mere potential for success without an excuse for failure and a chance of firing. And the Bills coach was very average. In short, he was a coward.

Flutie had sports connections with Florida prep in multiple sports...so in many ways added to the drama that thus unfolded. This is why i love football. 😃🤔😅😎!

This was a great play by Flutie, but that Kordell Stewart pass of 70 plus yards was spectacular. Now I have to watch that again.
