Thank you, lovely Senja! I love your travel videos as well - hopefully someday soon we can be together in Bali making travel videos together! I'm saving my money!!!! ;)
The gardens were really pretty, this little oasis between two very busy streets. And of course, I was so excited to some real Klimt pieces! Thanks so much for watching! :)
Thank you! I love museums and art galleries, but it is hard sometimes to find time to visit them when I travel. So glad we made a point to go to the Belvedere! :)
Great footage and voiceovers for this tour! The grounds are stunning! Glad you got to see the artwork that you wanted to see! Great photos at the end! Thanks!
Thank you for watching! Austria is truly gorgeous - I was only able to really see Vienna, but hope to go back one day and get out of the city to see the rest of the countryside. :)
Wow so breath taking. Austria is beautiful. I love all the sculptures and artwork. So much time was put into the artwork and architecture of that country. Its stunning to see. I totally get what you mean about having pieces of artwork that you just really want to see in person, I am a huge fan of surrealism and love to see those types of paintings in person. Its a completely different experience.
Every building looked like so much time and care had been put into every single detail. I appreciated the craftsmanship so much. Love surrealism too - I'm generally a big art fan but I'm horrible at making it myself! LOL
Thank you for a helpful video on the Belvedere museums. I am traveling to Vienna in December and want to spend some time with the Klimt paintings. This was short/sweet/ and informative :)
I'm so glad you found my video helpful! The Belvedere was one of my favourite museums in Vienna to be honest. It had a really interesting history on top of all the amazing artwork. I hope you get to visit it! :)
I loved Vienna. It wasn't on my bucket list before - we had the travel opportunity presented to us through my husband's work - but I'm so grateful we were able to go! It is a wonderful city! :)
I feel the same way. Canadian history is pretty awesome and action-packed too, but our history is so 'early' compared to European or Asian cultures! :)
Thanks so much for watching! :) The Belvedere was a really elegant art gallery (second, for me, to the Louvre). I think having all that Klimt art was what made it great for me! :)
I figured it would have been very cold in Austria this time of year. But it looked like you had a beautiful day of palace hiking. Beautiful palace and some great art. Nice video.
Wow you really cover some territory and amazing places in your videos!,Vienna's Belvedere Palace & Art Museum was great Thanks for sharing this and Cheers again from Australia
Marti you are a PURE Genius and so professional! The editing, Wow! I swear you really do deserve more credit for your lovely uploads! You have skillz! The Kiss!!!!!!!!!! Omg! You're so lucky! You got to see it in person! Wowzers! I'm so jealous! This palace is so picturesque! The grounds! What a stunning sight! The inside was so gorgeous as well! You presented everything in such a way, it truly pulls me in to wanting to go! Lol. INCREDIBLE share sweety! Many blessings and Happy Holidays
You went and visited my Summer home? LOL Have you ever watched the Movie Sissi, very good movie :-) Very beautiful Palace. You should have your own Travel guide on TV :-)
I haven't seen the movie Sissi but I heard about it at the Sissi museum. I'm going to have to try and find it so I can watch it. Thanks so much for the really nice words! :)
Thank you so much! Sorry it has taken me a week to respond - life is crazy right now! I very much appreciate all the support you give to my channel! :) Thanks for watching!
Cut a long story short, sent a birthday card of of Klimt's "Lady with the fan" to a relative in the US, which as you may be aware just got sold in London for $100,000,000. I think this is the place where it should have ended up and I think I have been here in the gardens.
Ha ha, yes! There were a couple of other of Klimt's paintings that I wanted to put in the video, but ultimately decided not to because it might have been *too much* ;)
We were there in October and it was not busy at all, we didn’t have to wait in lines, tickets were easy to get. I don’t know about other months, but I imagine the shoulder seasons (Oct-Nov and Feb-May) would be less crowded than summer or Christmas
The Belvedere was also the Vienna home of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his family. Of course, it was the assassinations of the Archduke and his wife in Sarajevo in 1914 that triggered the First World War.
Yep! So much history there! I really found the connections to Marie Antoinette interesting, but that's because she has that somewhat glamourous mystique in history and from Hollywood versions. But the other historical connections to the palace were just as impressive.
It depends on which section of Belvedere Palace you want to visit. Prices differ between the Upper Belvedere, the Lower Belvedere and the Belvedere 21 exhibits. Here is a link for pricing and ticket purchases: www.belvedere.at/en/tickets?location[]=1
Very nice series of videos on Vienna....been fun to watch, me and my wife have it on our bucket list of places to visit
Fingers crossed for you that you both get to go! It is really a beautiful city!
Very beautiful! Inside and out
It was such an amazing place. They redesigned it perfectly to be an art gallery! :)
Another amazing place, loved all the art of course.😀
There were so many big names there, it was a bit humbling! Lots of artists that I'd never heard of, but I bet you probably would have recognized! :)
Now these are worth sending on and sharing!👼👍🤗

Wow loving the views! I also like the different art gallery. Really nice exhibition. 😊👍
Yes, the building itself and the gardens were just one big pice of art to begin with! They did a fantastic job with the whole place!
Gustav Klimt is my favorite!!! Amazing video 💖💕
I love his "Gold Phase" - I had only ever seen his stuff online and in books, but it is truly impressive in person; the art literally glitters! :)
So beautiful palace! Very nice video 🤗👍
Thank you! I love museums and art galleries, but it is hard sometimes to find time to visit them when I travel. So glad we made a point to go to the Belvedere! :)
Thanks for sharing this. What a wonderful place!
It was wonderful to see so many beautiful pieces of art from such talented and famous artists, all together in one place. So cool! :)
those buildings are magnificent, the interior designs are beautiful, thanks for sharing.
So classy! I wish there were more buildings like this in Canada. :)
Great footage and voiceovers for this tour! The grounds are stunning! Glad you got to see the artwork that you wanted to see! Great photos at the end! Thanks!
I was very happy to see "The Kiss" in person. Photos don't do it justice, because of the way the gold leaf shines. It was a cool moment! :)
You did such a beautiful job filming this
Thank you! Back in the golden days when I could still travel!
Marti! Did you see Mr. Belvedere? Loll. Awesome place my dream is to travel someday. You are so to live, love n TRAVEL! Great upload. Berto😎❤️😎😂
I hope that you do get to go traveling one day, Berto! You totally deserve it! :)
Thank you Marti❤️❤️❤️
What a tour! If I ever go back to Europe, I will reflect on these videos for places to tour!
That's AWESOME! That is EXACTLY why I make them. My goal is to help other people plan their dream trips and see the world. :) You just made my day.
ooohhahhh everything looks so breathtakingly beautiful!
I love Klimt! I hope to see his paintings in person someday!
I was so excited to see "The Kiss"! It was everything I'd hoped it would be!
Once again, beautiful.I hate to pay, but it cost to keep things looking so nice and clean.
Very true! Those gardens don't groom themselves! ;) Sometimes the admission price is worth it.
You video are so awesome. And definitely have nice way of tell us about the place. You visit.
Thank you! I'm so happy that you liked the video! :)
Beautiful palace! Love the architecture and art. Excellent video.
Every now and then you gotta feed your soul and walk through an art exhibit. ;) Thanks for watching!
Woah, beautiful Palaces!!! Love the Ceiling paintings!!! Didn't know that they had the famous Klimt Painting there👍
I love those ceiling frescoes too! I can't imagine the time and effort taken to paint them! :)

Wow! I would love to see "The Kiss" in person. Amazing 👍
It looked so much better than in pictures. Pictures don't transmit the beauty of the gold leaf very well! :)
Such a great video. I love visiting place like that when I’m in other countries. Their history is just so rich.

awesome is all I can say
So much history and culture, and that's just one tiny piece of what Vienna had to offer like that! :)
Amazing palace
Just the art on the ceiling was amazing enough, let alone the actual paintings and sculptures! :)
I figured it would have been very cold in Austria this time of year. But it looked like you had a beautiful day of palace hiking. Beautiful palace and some great art. Nice video.
The weather was really gorgeous, like light fall temperatures. I brought a couple of sweaters and a jacket but rarely had to use them. :)

Marie Antoinette attended a ball in that palace, or so I was told by a guide. ;)
Beautiful love it like 48

There's a ton to see and do in Vienna! We could easily go back as well, as we didn't see all the things there were to see. :)
Liked +1 kool

The good ol’ days!!!!

I bet that’s one well organized and delivered tour! Sounds great!
If we buy Vienna card do we get discount for museums? Or its only for restaurants?

I love Klimt's work! It was very exciting to see some of it in person. Can you imagine having the funds to buy a painting for $100,000,000???
Klimt's paintings are very beautiful... sometimes a little racy though. The ones you picture are quite tame compared to some of the things he painted!
Ha ha, yes! There were a couple of other of Klimt's paintings that I wanted to put in the video, but ultimately decided not to because it might have been *too much* ;)
