This is a great video as you go through the 4 main options for the mag ext. Its good to know the xgrip works on the gun itself. I will be ordering gen 4 glock 20 mags and using the x grip for edc due to the fact you arent modifying anything internal. I feel like the x grip is the safest bet for extended magazine. I have the pierce grips in +2 and +0 but i dont have the confidence in the +2 like a stock 10 or stock 15. I will have to make a video on why but at least one of my plus 2 mags has a delay in the magazine spring when i release the first round from the magazine. Great informative video on the xgrips and slr and pierce grips .
@@Montana10mmAuto if your springs are played out, you can add Wolff +10% springs for G29 to those 10 round mags. I did that for my SLR +3, and I bought a 3 pack of springs just in case I need them later to replace for the +2’s when those springs wear out.
Yep, and they are cheap, a 3 pack is like $20 shipped on eBay. I should probably do a video where I show where I shop and how to save money on parts/guns/ etc.
Lone wolf has one as well its a +3. It fits 3 more rounds on the 10 round magazine. I prefer them over the pearce ones since the pearce one its just a plus 2 and it makes the magazine rattle when loaded.
Hey thanks for that info! That is Interesting, since my Pearce ones do not rattle. The one that moves around the most out of these here is actually the SLR Rifleworks one. The only issue I have with the Lone Wolf one is that it is smooth with no texture, so it seems “cheap” looking when the Pearce ones only cost $2 more, also I like the little lip at the bottom of the Pearce ones that are designed to be gripped. Also the lone wolf one is listed as a +2 for G29/30, but you managed to fit in 3 extra rounds? Also I wonder if attaching a Pearce grip to an ETS mag would work better for you? I can try it and report back
@shootingscience it says +2 in the description but it fits 3 without applying force. Side by side with the pearce on its a little bit longer than the pearce. So i think that is why you can fit 3.
No, with the +2 ones, the spring is still plenty springy. Even with the +3 SLR - the website even states no extended spring required, however I did add a Wolff +10% spring anyway to the +3 SLR that can be seen in my other install video!
This literally came out at the perfect time. Ordered one this morning and was looking at all of the options for extension. Thanks!
@@Corpsman_Up You’re welcome! Congratulations on the new G29 as well! 🎉 Which extensions are you going to add?
The flush and the pierce plus 2
@ nice! I think I’m gonna put some more Pearce +2’s on my other mags as well.

Thanks for watching! :)
Any reliability issues with the extensions like failure to feed on +2 or more?

@shootingscience Great to hear. Appreciate the content. New subscriber!
Excellent, thank you! I’m glad you are getting some use out of my content!
Unfortunately, I live in a restricted state and I can only have 10 round mags.
@@pedrocols sounds like the first magazine extension shown in this video is for you, the Pearce Grip +0, as it does not add more capacity!
@@shootingscience Thank you!
I believe pierce grip will still mail you the +2
@@Montana10mmAuto They will. However, I would not want to get caught carrying a 12 round mag in my state. That would be a felony.
@pedrocols holy shit what state is that?
