UPDATE: Some of the status matches I mentioned in this video, like the Wynn and Fontainebleau matches have expired/downgraded unfortunately. However, Caesars Diamond, Hard Rock Icon, Ocean Prime, Carnival Cruises and many other matches are still available! Another quick note, I have no affiliate link to this card! Just wanted you to know about it because it's good. Enjoy!
Plan a trip to Las Vegas around Christmas time and thought it might take me months for the process. But got approved right away after summiting the application. Did apply through sole proprietorship.
Been eyeing this card for some time, appreciate the approval tips! Hopefully since I already have 1 card with them, albeit a personal card, Barclays will make the application easier for me.
I get the sense that can help too. Maybe you won’t have to mail a letter to them with your identity documents since they already know you! Best of luck to you getting approved Monty!
Hey Monty. If you are over 6/24, they could possibly deny you, hopefully you are under so that you don’t get a hard inquiry on your credit and not getting the card, for me they pulled Transunion, but was denied, reason because of their 6/24 rule. I’ll be gardening throughout this year just for this card 😅, I think this card is a no brainer
Awesome! I was only able to take the time for a 4 day cruise but I wish I could have done the full 10 day MSC cruise. Next time I’ll definitely plan far ahead because finding availability was a bit challenging.
Omg!! my approval was laborious over a month it took to get approved faxing documents. Its was worth it with all of the benefits that this card has. Also Decent limit of 13K
That’s sums up the story of this card for most people. Annoying to get, but once you’re approved it’s got a ton of value. Thanks for sharing your experience here so that others can prepare for it as well!
It's a great card to have Wyndham have some beautiful premier hotel brands I didn't know about. Luckily the process wasn't as painful. Was able to do most verifications over the phone.
That's true, Wyndham has some surprisingly nice properties. That's nice to hear you were able to verify your info of the phone. Wish they gave me that option! Maybe you had a relationship with them already?
This is great just came across this video. So once you get the Wyndham Earner Business Card and keep it, does the Wyndham rewards Diamond status continue each year?
Do you know how strict they are with their 6/24 rule? I applied and got denied 😭. Considering calling their recon line but I don’t have a good case since I’m at 8/24.
Great video as always Ethan! Do you happen to know if there’s a minimum income threshold for applying for this card as a sole proprietorship? My business isn’t making any money right now but I’m still hoping to get the card
Thanks Jake! Good to see you over here. I don’t know if any minimum income and I’ve heard of some people getting approved with zero income. I don’t think that’s normal but it’s possible. If everything else in your credit profile looks good then personally I don’t think a lower income will stop you from getting approved.
Not exactly, but many things count as a business that people don’t often think of. Like selling things on Facebook or EBay, or any number of small income side hustles.
Yeah it seems unnecessarily complicated. I’m guessing they consider that a good way to get high quality customers? Just seems a little ridiculous to me
Quick question about Barclays 6/24 rule - do they count personal cards when considering applications for business credit cards? Won't hinder me either way but just curious.
Yes, almost definitely they will count personal. And the reason is they would classify this as “credit seeking”. Banks worry about people who open a bunch of cards in a short period of time, who could then max them out and then never pay. Personal cards are counted in that too.
I just got denied. I called today and they told me since I opened 9 new cards in 24 months they couldn't offer me the card lol. She said try again in a couple months.
Hey Ethan ! I loved this video . I work with entrepreneurs like you who have under 10k subscribers to help them to grow to 100k subscribers in under 12 months with proper systems . I actually helped Chirag to achieve 92k subscribers in under 11 months . Could I do a free audit to see if I can help you do the same ? I just think it's really important that more people see your content and want to help you on that mission .
I just read on the Caesar’s rewards that they do not status watch if the status earned was from a status match. Has anyone had trouble with this? Was looking for the cruise perks
I have heard of them saying this before. Status matching from Wyndham to Caesars will count but they want you to have ‘earned status’ from other brands.

Best tip: Sole Proprietor, Charitable Organization, 0$ income. Easy approval. Got one for wife & I.
Nice! Getting approved with zero revenue is definitely possible!
Did they ask for any additional documents?
@@mcmillandavis5493 nope, instant approval

Nice! That will be a good time to go. Congrats on the approval!
Right now moving to watching your free cruise video! Thank you so much! Very helpful and great videos!

@@chrisv4920 hey Chris thanks for the heads up, thankfully i'm under 6/24 now. Good luck to you in getting the card once you get under 6/24!
Just returned from MSC Cruise. This is my favorite card. So much value.
Awesome! I was only able to take the time for a 4 day cruise but I wish I could have done the full 10 day MSC cruise. Next time I’ll definitely plan far ahead because finding availability was a bit challenging.
Yeah, that happened to me with Carnival. Ended up choosing an 8 day in September on the Sunshine.
This is some great advice when coupled with your other videos on this card! I found my next card!
Glad it was helpful. Best of luck to you in getting approved!

What document did they require? Thanks!
Hands down one of the best cards. Great breakdown Ethan!
Yeah it's such a great card and really underrated. I appreciate it!

@@EthanPatrick_CreditCards No prior relation with them. Guess I was lucky lol
Great video!
How could you drive when you mail the physical driver's license??
You just mail a copy! Make sure it’s a good quality image.
I missed out on the bonus because of them dragging their feet. Too bad so sad. It currently pays for itself with parking with Caesars.
That’s the worst. They should have some more flexibility on that situation when they take forever. But you’re right it still pays for itself!

I think they’re fairly strict, but someone else in the comments said they got approved over 6/24 so there could be exceptions!

@@EthanPatrick_CreditCards Awesome thanks!
If I’m 5/24
Would I still be approved
Unlikely, but there have been data points of people who have. It’s not impossible.
Can I apply without a business?
Not exactly, but many things count as a business that people don’t often think of. Like selling things on Facebook or EBay, or any number of small income side hustles.
My approval process was a NIGHTMARE lol, similar to yours
Yeah it seems unnecessarily complicated. I’m guessing they consider that a good way to get high quality customers? Just seems a little ridiculous to me
My mothers maiden name was incorrect too!!
That’s a hilarious coincidence. I think I gave them my wife’s maiden name but I’m not completely sure!
What was your starting limit?
They gave me a little over a $10k limit. I have pretty average business income so I thought that was decent.

I had been declined twice as I had too many Hard-pulls so patiently waited until down to 3 HP and re-apploed back in May finally approved! 😊
Hey congrats! Feels good to get this card, it’s just so valuable right now
