Thank you for this video. I went out today and bought me one of these dawn brushes. This is going help tremendously without fear of scratching the paint. None of my other brushes work well in the door jams.
That’s why I love your channel Scott! Like you said you think outside the box! Thanks for saving me some money! I admire your attention to detail. Everyone what’s to cut corners these days. Cheers! ~Tim~
Hey Scott looks like a great tool I'll have to pick one up. I do have a question though, I have seen you clean/detail a lot of door jambs removing all the grease and grime. Do you every have to go back and re apply any lubercation to the door hinges that you removed during the cleaning process ?
Hey Scott saw your video on door jambs and the paint sprayer from harbor freight to wash think that it will work great on door jambs and engine bay I have a magnum xr 5 I purchased from a neighbor to paint my mom's home in the future but till that day going to use it to clean both of my vehicles got it from a neighbor for 60 dollars sitting in my garage only used once I know I live next to him thank you I think I need to check in to rehab clinic addicted to your videos take care my friend out here from the LL COOL J BLING CAPITAL OF THE WORLD CALI!
That SPEE I DETR (MEGA MIND reference haha) almost made me snort!!! Being a former yankee, I totally laugh at the speed of your speech But just wanted to say how brilliant you are, esp using and showing us the best and CHEAPEST ways to get 'er done
LOL! Some of the so-called "dollar stores" aren't. In my town, there are Family Dollar and Dollar General stores, both with a range or prices. Only the Dollar Tree stores have everything for $1. I think "dollar store" is used more like "dime store" used to be.
after seeing this video I went & bought this sponge. life saver, super easy & quick. best part I was cleaning our mini van where the back door is above my head & you can control how wet you want it so is to not make a mess cleaning all around the door. worked great! appreciate the tip.
Wow!!! I am definitely going to grab a few. How brilliant! Could these work to clean rims, like a cheap alternative to a Daytona Speed Brush? Lol. Thanks! Great videos, keep em' coming🙂
I like that you are not too proud to admit that you use common cleaning tools and methods and cleaners. Some detailers have this need to convince people that using items such as a dish-washing brush would be beneath them. I guess they feel their sponsors might drop them.
Watch it there Scott...your Detailers of America card might be cancelled for using an inexpensive household cleaning implement on a car rather than some fancy detailing product company's "foam lance" at 10x the price.
Scott if you are paying $1.50 at the Dollar store you are getting ripped off my friend 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 lol...jk but that spider was huge, glad you knocked it outta there
Scott I been watching or have watched most of your U tube episode's. True every car is not the same but any chance you have a basic way of working through the inside of a car. So you don't go trampling over what you have already done?
don't use it if your worried...its very soft and when the area is sprayed with a good degreaser you will be fine..have you ever done paint correction within those tight areas?..no because not everyone cares..but do whats best for you:)
yes that works ok..but not everyone owns a power washer and to be honest my customers would kick me out of their driveway if i used that method..but thats my world with high end cars and many of my clients
looks like a perfect tool for inside of deep door pockets and cupholders etc to me scott

Chemical guys will prolly see this video and make a "door jamb super soft super sponge" and sell it for 10x the price
Wheel woolies...
I saw a garage overhead door seal being sold as a "car spoiler scrape preventer" on Amazon for 10x the price of what you would buy at Home Depot. LMAO
“Holy Crap gotta get that spider outta here” 😂😂
Thank you for this video. I went out today and bought me one of these dawn brushes. This is going help tremendously without fear of scratching the paint. None of my other brushes work well in the door jams.
Use that brush to clean glasses in the Kitchen sink, never would have thought to use it like that great freakin idea Scott. Thanks Kurt
That’s why I love your channel Scott! Like you said you think outside the box! Thanks for saving me some money! I admire your attention to detail. Everyone what’s to cut corners these days. Cheers! ~Tim~
Who knew? That's just so simple and works great. Those are always the best ideas. Thanks.
Scott, I have used this same tool to clean my wheels for many many years. Works great!
I truly love your made up words as you go along LOL! Keep up the good work, I need to bring my car to you sometime.
Something to lookout for at the dollar store! Thank you for the idea! 😃

Let me add I'm a satin man not into BLING!
Shouldn't the hinges be lubricated afterwards?
you use full strength super clean on maintenance cleans????
Scott, what do you think about tough stuff from STP for a cleaner
That SPEE I DETR (MEGA MIND reference haha) almost made me snort!!! Being a former yankee, I totally laugh at the speed of your speech

Picking one up this weekend and the aerosol can
Baby bottle brush will also work I believe.
Awesome tip Scott!
But I am even more curious as to why you have two hoses running under the passenger side dash of your truck???
Got it at the $1 store for $1.50?
LOL! Some of the so-called "dollar stores" aren't. In my town, there are Family Dollar and Dollar General stores, both with a range or prices. Only the Dollar Tree stores have everything for $1. I think "dollar store" is used more like "dime store" used to be.
Sold! I was looking for something for door jams.
Does super clean work on spiders too?
😂😂😂😂😂😂
after seeing this video I went & bought this sponge. life saver, super easy & quick. best part I was cleaning our mini van where the back door is above my head & you can control how wet you want it so is to not make a mess cleaning all around the door. worked great! appreciate the tip.
Great idea! Thank you so much.
Where do I get a brush like that at
Wow!!! I am definitely going to grab a few. How brilliant! Could these work to clean rims, like a cheap alternative to a Daytona Speed Brush? Lol. Thanks! Great videos, keep em' coming🙂

Haahhhahahahahahahahha....gosh Scott...you made laugh so much when you said:" holy crap, let me get that spider out of here!". Lol. That was funny
What is this cleaning handle called
Great Tool Will be buying this!
How well does the brush hold up over time?
The ones from the dollar stores don't last long, but you can get better ones. Mine last me about 3 months.
Gonna grab a few and looks like a great little cheap tool!

Donutmandetailing
Bought the Woolly Wormit ($30) a few months back and that "rim brush" could be perfect for door jambs. Nah, I'll do your method instead.
Quickie Manufacturing 126-3/72 Bottle Brush
he bro try a baby bottel brush with the sponge at the end works great. pick up at walmart.
awesome tip!...thank you:)
Lol I thought i was the only one to use that tool I use it to clean my engin tires and wheel wells
its a cheap little tool but it works:)
okay Scott thanks for the tip but believe me your video just had increased the price of these sponge brushes !
Scott, I've picked up several of the Dawn tools from the local General Stores. Ready for door jams minus the spider.
i know!...did you see that spider..i was keeping my cool since the video was rolling..lol..i wanted to run:)
Subscribed
its a jar or bottle cleaner
That was a big spider, ha!
they get even bigger in dallas!
daddy long leg lol
3:05 *dramatic death music ensues*
A sponge ment for cup's , that's thinking out side the box .
Nice vid thanks for tip
That spider was just trying to get a closer look. It’s tough out here man, he’s just trying to make it work.
Watch it there Scott...your Detailers of America card might be cancelled for using an inexpensive household cleaning implement on a car rather than some fancy detailing product company's "foam lance" at 10x the price.
i know right..lol
Jonnie Bangkok Lol yea that’s funny. I just use my wash mitt and some dawn and bucket. Then rinse.
Scott if you are paying $1.50 at the Dollar store you are getting ripped off my friend 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 lol...jk but that spider was huge, glad you knocked it outta there
you saw my video tfw buddy
That huge spider Hahahah
perfect ......
Scott I been watching or have watched most of your U tube episode's. True every car is not the same but any chance you have a basic way of working through the inside of a car. So you don't go trampling over what you have already done?
oh thank god scott im made of sugar i'll melt hahaha ps i won't use a stiff brush
$1.50 then I look that was 7 years ago how the world changed! $4 at Walmart and for some odd reason they are $7 on Amazon 😂
Compare dollar store foaming bathroom cleaner to your spray cleaner.
That was such a small spider haha
that fucking spider lol, that thing was huge.
i know right...lol...welcome to texas:)
Lmao... that was awesome.
Daddy Long Legs spider :D
Spiderman!!! :-)))))))))))))))))))))
It will scratch is made from sponge same reason why you would not use one on your car
don't use it if your worried...its very soft and when the area is sprayed with a good degreaser you will be fine..have you ever done paint correction within those tight areas?..no because not everyone cares..but do whats best for you:)
At the end of the day it's just a car that gets you from point a to point b and if it's not a $100,000 car who cares?
7:04 ....Even the dog is off on his own little escape trip -- "this guy talks too much, I'm outta here!" :D
Wasted time, just put degreaser and hit up with pressure washer 3 second done
yes that works ok..but not everyone owns a power washer and to be honest my customers would kick me out of their driveway if i used that method..but thats my world with high end cars and many of my clients
Julio Morales degreaser is bad on paint and will remove wax
