Please keep filming. Don’t worry about how to make it exciting. There are a whole lot of us out here that believe that the ordinary is still beautiful and interesting. Today There are less than 2% of the population involved in production agriculture. We don’t have the voice we used to have. It’s more important today than ever for us to toot our own horns. Keep tooting! I love what you’re doing.

I agree. Being a suburb gal, I am getting a much greater appreciation of where my beef comes from. This includes the labor, infrastructure and expenses. Besides human, horse, and dogs it seems everything else runs on diesel. Control the price of diesel and control farming. A very scary thought.

Love the channel. As a 70 year old Brit, I was brought up on a great deal of cowboy culture but the Hollywood version. No horse ever went anywhere except at a gallop. It's really interesting to see the real thing. I'd like to know more about Navajo culture as well.

Thanks for your comment! I’m Pit River Indian how the elders taught us about taking care of the land and animals is very similar to how real cowboys & cowgirls look after their land and animals. Everyone should learn where they come from and see what it offers to improve their life. Creator blessed us with diversity. So many different cultures and ways to pray. You guys do a very good job with your horses and stock. The way you teach and involve the younger kids is a great example to others!

Your videos truly show how beautiful our country is along with the hard working people that have given their blood sweat and tears to live their best lives, raise their children to have good hearts and teach them life skills through love brings me PEACE AND HOPE in this troubling time with so much division, unrest, and hate filling our streets, our news every day, social media, and sadly, even long friendships and families. They say envy is a bad thing, so I try to remember years past when I had my grulla King g-grandson and imagine ourselves riding out there with you, just taking in all that beauty❣️ I SINCERELY APPRECIATE the time and effort you give to gift us with so many pieces of your heaven out there. We really enjoy your vlogs. I grew up in Pinetop. Always wonderful to see your part of the country. Glad finally some rain. Your horses are top notch and your cattle in good condition. Riding to check on cattle/fences teaches horses so much, we all need those wet saddle blankets. The “boot” bag is way neat. Thanks for sharing all your cultures with us. Loved the beautiful Navajo blanket your grandmother made. 💕👏💕

I just started watching your videos and I'm loving what I'm seeing! I'm in North California and even tho I'm in the mountains, it's still quite modern not as modern as in the cities but I miss the days as a kid, running and playing outside, watching and chasing cattle out of the track. Now I watch or hear about my grandkids stuck watching TV or whatever they're doin on their tablets. I believe teaching your youngins the cowboy way is superb and a respectful way to live! The more too ya! Oh I have a bit probably less then 1% of Cherokee running thru my blood but if ya saw me you'd never guess, very proud of this, my mom was very into researching her heritage when she was alive!

Thank you Wanda for being a wonderful example of a Navajo woman enjoying the cowboy culture. We R living the wacky Covid 19 world here in Gold Coast ( South of Brisbane Australia) . Watching you and your family live a life enjoying these beautiful desert images and seeing the emotions of animals I thought were resestricted to humans. Seeing mother horses loving and caring for their young. Seeing cattle jump for joy as they get into a new pasture or come up on water. Seeing the love between the little new born ponies as you comfort them to human touch and how gentle your process of breaking in a horse to ride the first time. How trust is built! I have learned and enjoyed so much from your wonderful commentary about the cowboy culture. Thanks! God Bless keep it up you are doing a great job.

Great video! Native Americans should all be proud of their culture. And Ranching and Cowboys are a vital part of this Countries history. When changes are made all involved need to be in touch with the western way of life and make "wise" changes that truly apply. Lack of knowledge leads to knee jerk decisions that are usually totally unnecessary. Had a friend who went vegetarian after she figured out how the chicken ended up in the grocery store! Cowboy Channel is doing a terrific job of educating about Ranching and Rodeoing.

Thanks for the video and your thoughts on your heritage and your life on the ranch. I have gotten too old and stove up to do some things I used to do. I discovered that TH-cam had a number of channels, such as yours, that brought a lot of joy into my life. Likewise, I have a lifelong love of ranching, was born on one. I am selective in whom I watch. I don't like staged stuff. I want to see what you bring us, things as they are happening, just day-to-day work, and I only watch down to earth good honest folks such as your family. After a time, you and your family become friends. We get interested in you all and like meeting all of you. If you have a family gathering, film some and do some introductions. Again, My Thanks, for sharing your life with us.

Love watching you keep the cowboy culture alive and teaching your children by example, so happy for you getting much needed rain. Here in Eastern Oregon we got 1 and 7/10 inch out of that same storm, in our 45 yrs here in Ontario we have never received that much in such a short time; outside of the irrigated land our country looks much like yours. I love watching your videos because you guys keep up the culture and heritage of ranching. You have animals and have to get out there EVERY DAY in ANY weather to take care of them and your land! We only own three horses and I ride them every day and take care of them in heat and snow, it is sad to see how little people know about country life anymore. I love when kids grow up with animals and get dirty playing outside. Keep it up, your videos and ride alongs with all of your great comments and jokes are amazing!

Too much testosterone in one spot made for an interesting opening.😄I am stuck back in time when cowboy culture was the rage. Almost every show on tv had cowboys. Now, alas, I have to live that lifestyle vicariously through your videos. 😂It’s not so bad in some ways. We finally had a dry spell to get our hay in. It took me a day to recover from watching them sweat. I provided drinks and pizza while my husband plugged and unplugged the hay elevator. Once we got over 60 we kept hurting our backs so our friends banned us from the crew.🤣 You get old and your kids become really bossy. I was driving to the feed store at 6PM when my daughter who lives across the street called and asked me where I was going so late! 😹I call her Gladys Cravitts the nosy neighbor from “Bewitched”.💕 from the Great Lakes State and a big thank you.

When they built the railroad for the power plant in St. Johns, they took a bunch of the white top soil off Candy Top until we put a stop to it. I was a Senior in High School and one of my jobs was to sit on that high spot and watch them build the railroad with binoculars and write a report. We would wire up fences they would leave open and fix fences constantly. We would chase them off the places they weren't supposed to be. They dug up many ruins and would send archeologists to record them before building the railroad over the top. Very sad days.
