Yeah as much as I think the way to get the rare Bey’s are cool there’s just no way I can drop 1,000 USD for the chance of getting 1 of 2 Beyblades . This is coming from someone who plays a lot of Gacha games as a light spender. I hope this is not the way Hasbro release Cobalt Drake . I’ll take the hasbro one even though it might perform worse overall.
This is actually quite concerning... if Takara Tomy wants an actual competitive "gear sports" or to make beyblade x as a serious competitive hobby (kinda like how Tamiya's mini4wd) then TT should **not** lock performance beyblades under exclusivity. . Imagine being in an open tournament and you go up against decks that contain cobalt drake, already you are at a disadvantage unless you build your deck specifically to counter CDs. If you do then your deck would be weaker against other setups. . Another thing here is that BBX fights hit hard and brutal that beyblades are bound to get damaged in battle. Imagine having your Shark Edge or your Cobalt Drake blades being destroyed. Do you mean I need to spend almost 900++usd just to get another CD? (and! thats not even guaranteed, thats all by chance) If this happens to me I would quit the hobby all together... . Takara Tomy should release non-exclusive versions of their performance blades and also release spare parts (just like how Tamiya does it). Say TT could release a different color (or no color) cobalt drake as a blade only. They should also release say packages with ratchet only or bits only as spare parts. . In tamiya mini4wd racing they also have very rare exclusive kits and parts but those items "does not boost significant performance" meaning you can win races without these kits because they have regular release for them. In BBX is not the same case because Cobalt Drake is very strong (There was a video from Krow Blader where the finalist for the BBX Tournament were all running Cobalt Drake). . The only reason why I'm staying in the hobby is because Phoenix Wing can actually beat Cobalt Drake (one can still make a full attack deck without compromising to counter CD) and it can be a good counter for some setups meaning that there is a fighting chance to beat decks containing Cobalt Drakes.
I dont think this bey guarantees a win tho, maybe in the anime/manga 😂 and im sure they prolly going to release a non painted mass produced version of it later on.
Should i just drop $200 on this bey, or are we ever getting this game in the west in the future? @@nuc what sucks is that the app doesn't have neighboring countries and english translations.. Also not being able to scan hong kong TT codes is unfortunate.. they need to update and fix these crucial problems. Also their app isn't optimized at all, needing the latest OS system to scan is.. 🤦♂
@@nuc What I mean is the gameplay is shallow. I wish Hasbro would make a game similar to what Spiral Warrior did (which recently reached End of Service sadly). The gameplay of that was fun for a mobile game
The rare bey get battle is all by luck. It doesnt matter if you get a good or bad launch, or a good or bad attack. Its all luck based. XD Of course you gotta spam and what not but still. You gotta pray to god that you get extremely lucky and hope that you get it. XD
