He doesn't get over-excited, or focus on 'Top Trumps' numbers and Pub talk and he doesn't over-elaborate on the technical stuff, which is still informative but which he explains in layman's terms. A brilliant presenter, and a fantastic production team working in harmony and improving all the time. Thanks for another brilliant watch!

Other great non-Porche cars show up as well. It's called The Good Vibes Breakfast Club. Amazing cars form all around Los Angeles and cool people.
If there was no Singer, I would think this is the perfect Porsche, I would be astonished like I was when I discovered the cars of Rob Dickinson. I think this is also a great restomod, worth of the money required, but definetely, I would pick the Singer, the first one, that with only 350-380 Hp for a couple of reasons: first the styling; I find that first Singer absolutely astonishing from that point of view, well balanced, with unbeatable proportions, and over all this perfect shaped wheel archs, quith the bespoke Michelin tyres sides perfectly matching the rims, and perfectly filling the wheel archs, a masterpiece, a perfect sculpture of modern art; and second, the compactness of those first Singers: I find this Guntherwerks somewhat too wide to be ultimately enjoyed in the twisty B-roads I like most.
Points made, but I was stationed at JAC Molesworth and am intimately acquainted with your B roads, and you can keep them. Far too bumpy, far too greasy, and far too clogged with ridiculously slow diesel shit boxes. I will take California canyon roads any day of the week and twice on Sunday. I frankly wouldn’t pay for either the Singer or the Gunther, I’ll take my 991.2 C2S as it’s faster than I can drive it anyway. Happy motoring!
@@gouldnj I wish I could live nearer than 5900 miles (in straight line) to the mighty californian canyon roads you mention. Enjoy your superbly engineered (I'm not joking) 991.2 CS2 and the superb countryside that goes with! Thank you for your comment.

Thanks carfection. Been thinking about an Guntherwerks, but just can't get an "allocation". Love them to bits! The engine noise clip was a beautiful touch.
This is why people like Henry have an edge over your average youtuber, he has such a massive back catalogue of experience with so many great cars you have to take his opinions more seriously.
Love this channel! the unobtainium nature of some of these cars is a bit much, however, (yes, so stipulated, amazing cars, very well filmed), particularly now when "normal" car prices are insane.
I love the looks of these, MUCH more cohesive than the Welties and still looks like a 993 turned up to 11. (I still consider myself a bit of a Porsche purist) I have to ask if they changed the firing order of the engine as it doesn't sound like an A/C Porsche at all? It's a nice sound but far more rice than that wonderful metallic rasp and bark of the typical A/C Porshay (think 964 with an elbow). Does it smell like a Porsche? (hot metal with just a hint of burnt oil).

Gorgeous looking car, and sound! Well done video too. I find it amusing about the AZ Historical plate, it's essentially a brand new car, I know the cost of tags is less than normal plates.
Awesome work as usual Henry. I can tell the car didn’t appeal to you all that much as a great iteration of the 911 for that classic driving experience. The car is clearly over the top for anything but track work. I’m immensely enjoying my plain Jane Boxster S as it’s capable enough to drive faster than you should on the street, but usable every day and still quite entertaining, a lot like a regular 911, but at half the price and a more balanced and easy to drive at the limit chassis at 8/10’s with its mid engine. Can’t wait for the next review!

I've historically stood by my blanket statement that even the highest of the high end Porsche tuners and conversion companies can build a beautifully engineered product, but they still lack a crucial element of old school passion. Singer started down a good road to redeem that thought, but I don't feel drawn to them like I do with this masterful creation. Not only does the body pull your eyes around it, wondering why the factory didn't do it this way, but my gawd that engine! Who knew you could get that kind of power and reliability with an air cooled motivator, and then the cherry on top, _that_ exhaust note! I'm getting a little weak in the knee just listening to it.

@@howarddavies136 Yeah but as stated in the video it has fully adjustable suspension. So you could bias it towards road or track with some adjustment. I think with restomod 911s from Singer or Guenther they wouldn't be very good if they didn't include that kind of suspension. I think a lot of the owners of these resto 911s want a car that is fun on track but also nice to drive at a slower pace on a coastal with sunglasses on and music playing.
@@teabagtowers3823 I think you would have to really mess up the suspension kinematics and give it some scary handling to reduce the grip to below what is inherent in a set up with such wide tyres and track.
