Motors are seldom the reason washers are replaced. It's almost always something else, that goes wrong first. As such, it's usually pretty easy to find a good used motor out of one.

I want to see a perfectly balanced drum spin so fast, that it flies apart. If a carbon brush motor can't spin fast enough, perhaps reduce the pulley size on the drum shaft, to gear it up, to load the motor at the higher "spin"speed.
