Back at the beginning of open source FDM, ABS was very common because companies already sold filament for commercial plastic welding. Then came PLA and cheap Chinese printers and ABS got known as a difficult filament. I'm glad to see it's no problem for the P1S.
Exactly! I used it with my Makerbot Replicator 2x. It was my first 2 extruder printer. Printing your Key Chain Capsule www.tinkercad.com/things/bwetOonZphK-keychain-capsule-2 Right now with ABS. Modified it to hold the bags for cleaning up after the pooch. 💩
I converted the file to SVG and imported it into Tinkercad, but the 'silhouette' option in fill mode does not appear. I tried again, but nothing. It doesn't show up. Do you have any solutions?
Got it. The design you are working with has inside and outside edges, so there is no silhouette. If you choose the internal edge in picsvg you will get a solid shape and have all those options available.

You can reach me at hlmodtech gmail. If you share the SVG file or the file you converted it will help me figure out what is up.
@@HLModTech Many thanks !!! Email with files sent to you for your analysis

I'd print the pegs on their side for strength with flats cut off the lower side to avoid finish problems associated with supports.
Great point. Will be interesting to see how they hold up for the user. They will not be back in school till late August.
Nice job and good tips!
Thanks tons! Do I play hockey with you too?
@@HLModTech Mike, I do not play hockey. Lots of Molnars...
