The education and skills acquired to become EHP is invaluable to helping individuals, communities and entire nation live a healthier live. Adoption of Environmental health measures definitely transforms our space into a better place to live and work.
I thought about being an Environmental Health Specialist but this career in general doesn’t make sense. The education needed Physics , Organic Chemistry, Statistics, etc. Has no relevancy in ensuring safe environments or practices.
please can someone share the hardest things to handle as environmental health? please can you share 5 things that are stressors in the job? Also what are the benefits in working as environmental health like salary per years and how much per hour? Do they offer health insurance do they make you work over time or we are free to work only 8 hours if we want too? Do they treat their employees well ?please any information will be helpful =)
hardest things and stressors are dependant on the support from your employer and mostly is availability of equipments and other resources needed to do your job satisfactorily. Salary and insurance, and period of work is also dependant on your employer or conditions of employment. it is best you ask in your country, mostly in municipalities or local government

I was an inspector for 3 years and hated it at times. Its not for everyone!
