Do it. I have been low carb now for 4 years. I love it... last test was 36 mmol. Dr hates me.

Hi, thank you for getting in touch. Having an HbA1c level between 42mmol/mol - 47mmol/mol means it is higher than normal and you are at risk of developing type 2 diabetes. We have general advice about what it means to be at risk of type 2 diabetes on the following link here: How to prevent type 2 diabetes | Diabetes UK
Supporting people with information about diabetes is very important to us and one of the reasons why we have a helpline is so people can talk things through. You are welcome to call Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm on 0345 123 2399. Find out more about our helpline on the following link here: Diabetes UK Helpline | Diabetes UK
You may be interested to know there is an organisation called BEAT who can give support to people with ARFID - ARFID - Beat (beateatingdisorders.org.uk)

@@diabetesuk hi many thanks for you getting back to me I will check out the links and call at some point in the week . Also I've contacted beat and they have said to speak with my gp first to which i now have an appointment coming up at the hospital to speak with dietetics (dietision (professional). In turn hoping to get referred to a specialist who deals solely with ARFID (hopefully ) once again thanks regards mike

my sugar in fasting is less than 100 but HBA1C result is 6.2%.can you tell me reason why HbA1C result is above 5.7%.I am monitoring my sugar in fasting from almost one weak.all time its less than 100.what you suggest for me.

The HbA1c level is a much more accurate guide to overall blood glucose levels than fingerprick test readings. An HbA1c result of 6.2% is in the prediabetic/at risk range. Do let us know where you live, and we will try and signpost you to local sources of information and support.

120 days is 4 months, not 3 months.
