Good informative comparison. I personally like the original 80's Turbo Overdrive : Turbo on, Drive on maximum, Tone & Level at 1 o'clock, into JC 77, this amp was made for these pedals & brings out the brilliance without being trebley
@@tonexlab I feel its the farthest you can take Overdrive, before it becomes Distortion. For me, Distortion works in the Studio, but gets lost in the mix in a live setting. Even a lesser amount of Overdrive works better for me to focus on your notes & hear yourself in the mix.

@@tonexlab I had a EHX Graphic Fuzz in the early 80's that sounded great, but was fragile to put on the floor & step on & eventually broke.
