This is so true! I've noticed that with my sister's Schnauzer. She'll try to sleep, but even conversation will wake her up. So yeah, dogs are definitely not ones to sleep all day even with noises going on around them. That sort of "accomplishment" goes to the cats, they'll sleep through just about anything.
