@@phyllisjohnson2938 the border has been "shut" for as long as i've been alive. the requirement for all travellers is to swear that they are working against the united states in obtaining foreign passports or to accept birth certificates, essentially stating that they do not support the united states declaration of independence.
it's impossible to be born american, just like you can't be born communist. you can't automatically be american due to parents, just like you can't automatically be a communist baby just because your parents adhere to communism.
but the border agents require all people to swear that they believe in the opposite of the reality of our world and to prove they are working against the united states in some way. the borders have been shut for a looong time my friend.
any natural born citizens caught travelling around these anti-american ports of entry are put into prison and then told that the agents themselves will harm this country on their behalf by draining united states treasury funds to finance their flights to foreign nations in an attempt to have them work against us.
