    The brothers jacket has so many out dated references it should come with a CRT tv..............
    Ain't no one gonna roast you when you're sewing on a player haters patch?

      Thanks for watching! On a digital sewing machine, you can use a straight stitch or zig zag stitch to sew the patch down.

    Looks like you used a zigzag stitch but I didn’t hear you mention it. If so-what settings did you use?

    • @PATCHBOYDARB
      @PATCHBOYDARB  หลายเดือนก่อน

      With a zig-zag method we like to increase the width of the zig-zag so that the stitches go into and off of the patch.

    Thanks, my grandson brought me about 20 patches today for his denim vest. Help, what is the best thread to use on an electric sewing machine? Too old to do it by hand. lol

    How would you sew a patch which is on a pocket without sewing the pocket?

    • @PATCHBOYDARB
      @PATCHBOYDARB  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      The only ways would be to hand sew it on or remove the pocket and sew it back on once the patch is added.

      They make needles for sewing denim fabrics, you can purchase them at Joann’s or online.

    Thanks homie. Keeping it funky for us crafty mofos. Anything on polyester or nylon jackets? I have both and want to add custom, Non iron on patches.

      I haven’t added patches to those types of fabrics, but I would say to use the proper needle for those fabrics.

    How would you recommend doing this on a lined garment? I'm kinda weirded out about sewing the lining onto the outer fabric when putting a patch on something like a leather jacket

    • @PATCHBOYDARB
      @PATCHBOYDARB  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You will have to undo the lining in order to not stitch the outer fabric to the inner lining, which is a lot more work.

    • @PATCHBOYDARB

      @@CiCi1261 Yes the SE625 is a great machine. It is only a 4x4 inch hoop, so if you are planning on making larger embroideries you should get a different machine.

    • @PATCHBOYDARB

      Yes you should be able to use this method. Maybe apply some iron on backing to the sheet to prevent the edges from fraying.
