Uhhh KC has a +33 point differential, while Houston is at -12. Theyre not the same situation... run game questionable, and secondary extremely questionable. The amount of times opposing QBs have missed wide open throws against them feels extremely lucky. It's okay to be a fan of the team but also look at the facts realistically, lol.
I like how these guys keep saying Josh Allen had a bad game instead of WHY he had a bad game (DeMeco and Htown defense) like he woke up and decided nah I’m not feeling a good day today. Give credit when and where it’s due.
Houston hasn’t looked complete due to injuries and lack of chemistry from so many new players. But still grinding out wins shows more guts/heart than anything. KC is doing this very thing it’s called championship mentality
I hear ya on the play calling it’s not been the best but don’t forget not having a good enough RB and an oline who’s fun blocking us suspect doesn’t help
If the Texans can play a complete game like we did in the first half of the Buffalo game we are gonna be dangerous. Still a really good team. If we start to peak in November/December I'll take that over being the Saints who peaked in the first 2 weeks A team with a young coaching staff like ours takes a little time to get to where we know we can be. Other AFC top teams coaches like Andy Reid, John Harbagugh have been coaches for years so they have the experience Demeco, Slowik etc are learning.
They’re certainly not playing up to expectations, but the fact they’re still winning is really all that matters. I’d rather them get it together late in the season and go into the playoffs as a hot team rather than burn out early. None of their wins have been very pretty, but at the end of the day they’re making the plays needed when it matters the most. They have a lot to clean up, but any team with a good QB, good coach, and a playoff spot has a chance to be a contender regardless.
I feel like saying Josh Allen had no open throws is just not true. There were multiple times where he had open guys and he just barely over threw them. Josh Allen cost them the game, bc at least 2 of those throws were almost definitely going to be touchdowns.
I got news for you Mr Colo Colin . Did you say that 2 weeks ago when Ravens were playing poorly ? Humm, freaking genius, and if you did, what is your so called expert opinion on them now? So called experts always changing their opinions from week to week. And one thing is for sure, I don't take their opinions seriously at all. I can see the game, and the players and make my own assessments from week to week. Experts OMG 🙄.
@@josephfaison5689and every since then Houston has been clamping shit down on defense. The fact that they completely shut down Allen to 9/30 less than 30 percent completion. Everyone wants to hold the Vikings game over them, well they just played another AFC conference opponent that is definitely a playoff team and the defense was playing lights out
I believe it was cj who said something along the lines of “its not easy to get a win against anybody” with that being said 4-1 is recognizable also we’ve had 5 weeks of football nobody is in mid season form yet i think its still to early to panic i believe weeks 12-18 are most important i also believe most teams will have reached there season identity by then

I think..... Houston is "one" of the contenders but rn but i dont think they can be taken seriously until they become more disciplined. They make alot of mistakes on both sides of the ball. They cant consistently run the ball and then pass protection is inconsistent. Lots of penalties. Stroud is great, and they have to great players on defense, but they have alot to clean up.
Cowherd has a weird thing against the Texans. He always finds an excuse to talk down on them going back to bashing them for having a zoom call with his buddy Sean Payton.
The bills loss and all they could talk about was Josh Allen and not the houston defense wow! That’s crazy a win is a win stroud had over 300 yards. Most hate comes from a jew
Ok man let’s get this straight your not going beat a true contender by more then one score look at the Chiefs and Bills history recently it’s almost never going to happen. It was close because ummmmmm BILLS HAVE A DAMN GOOD DEFENSE! Like stop bro
I’ve been thinking.. looking at our schedule.. this might be our shot, if we (Washington) get another WR, a real edge like max crosby.. and a safety 🤯 by the trade deadline.. I think we should strike while the iron is hot
Funny how KC for how good they been in the past is winning by a damn hair and Patrick Mahomes has significantly regressed and playing terribly, yet Houston is winning these one score games and the defense is playing excellent they aren’t true contenders?
I absolutely do not think they look like contenders. They look like a typical Bill O'Brien team, to be honest. A team that will get into the playoffs because they win a crappy division and they get obliterated in the divisional round when they have to play a real contender. They ain't going to be able to hang with the big boys if they have no running game. All they have is an injured starter and no real back-up.
I agree with Colin, even as a Texans fans...there are just too many mistakes right now offensively that it's hard to definitively say their contenders. I still doubt they will win against the Jets or the Packers right now. The run game is anemic, the O-line is still undisciplined, and the offense is bottle-necked to rely strictly on Collins
Your probably right about the Jets and Packers games, although it's not like those teams don't have questions as well. Looking beyond this month, I'd probably chalk up Lions, Chiefs, and Ravens as losses as well. I know the Lions and Ravens are at home, but playing indoors plays to the Lions advantage, and I still don't think they matchup well with the Ravens.
It’s crazy how Kansas City is winning the exact same way rn but yall bashing the Texans “for winning” 😭
