DIY Pickeroon (hookeroon) Making a pickeroon from an old axe.

In this video, I make a very useful firewood tool called a pickeroon. I use an old axe, and repurpose it. On our homestead, being resourceful is a must. With a simple angle grinder, this new tool comes to life.

Local hardware store. Had a barrel full. I suspect that those prices were from over 10years ago when they purchased a barrel full. Lol. Thanks for watching.

Once you've exploded an angle grinder disk in your face, you'll put the guard back on. Not worth it, mate.

Not everyone has access to torches. I have them, but use them more for bending iron and heating stuck pins etc. than for cutting.
