    Mag drill makes all the difference! Trouble is that they are so expensive and don’t get used enough to justify buying one so, most folks rent it.

    • @Trinity_Service_Solutions
      @Trinity_Service_Solutions 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Indeed. I got mine used about 15 years ago. I've kept it close.... So it doesn't "walk away". Very versatile piece of equipment. When in a service truck full time, it definitely helps justify, being the only drill press you can take with you. Thanks for watching. Brandon, I like your videos on the process, but I would like to know what the torque settings you used in the process?

    • @Trinity_Service_Solutions
      @Trinity_Service_Solutions 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Uh oh. I'm not certain I can recall. Most of the time (when I don't know OEM specs) I work off a chart that I found years ago. It has nominal torque specs for each size and grade of fastener. I would think nominal torque specs would be available on Google. Thanks for watching!

    Thanks for this video, great job showing the process. My 9N lifts but won't go down, so I guess I will have to do what you have done in the video. Scary! Where did you get your parts to do the project? Yesterday's tractor or maybe Steiner?

  • @earlschultz7880
    @earlschultz7880 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks for this video! My 9N 3-point lifts, but does not go down, I just have to shut the tractor down, and it will go down in a hour or so. Do you think it can be the sludge issue also? When I bought it the 3-point work fine, then slowly started giving me a problem (I have had it for about 3 years. Thanks again!

    • @Trinity_Service_Solutions

      I believe the spool valve (the part with the little "T" on the end of it). Is stuck in the valve body. If you take it apart just enough to get that spool knocked out of the housing, clean it all up with Scotch Brite pads and put it back in, it should be fine. Did you see parts 2 and 3 on my channel? They show the disassembly and assembly process. Thanks

    What about the Tractor Supply Universal hydraulic fluid? It is labeled to meet the old Ford requirements it appears on the labeling.... I bought this instead of the mineral oil as the 5 gallon bucket was available in the universal blend

    • @Trinity_Service_Solutions
      @Trinity_Service_Solutions ปีที่แล้ว

      That probably is ok, less expensive, and more readily available. I chose to go with spec for this one. Thanks for watching!

    • @fomoco1454
      @fomoco1454 ปีที่แล้ว

      @ Brandon. No, sir. Do not use what's known as Universal 303. It's too thin and will not lubricate the N series pump, rear axle assembly, or transmission properly. It will also cause negative lift performance.
