Today in front of my home there was a parade of trucks and cars passing by with the police blocking off streets...this lasted for 2 hrs and 22 minutes. I live in the Bay Area about 30 min outside of San Francisco. That’s right San Francisco, the liberal bastion home of Nancy Pelosi. It was so moving to see this. American flags everywhere. I’m from an immigrant family and people waved at me and we all yelled together. Beautiful!!!

As a teenager , it was always my dream to move to California for the culture , skateboarding scene , etc. By the time my early twenties came around (2013) I saw how bad it was financially, but wasn't aware of the corruption. Now , I'm 29 and my dream was gone years ago. I wouldn't subject my family to that. Hopefully they can turn it around because it was such a beautiful place at one point.
I spent some time skateboarding around Cali around 2013. Was an awesome trip but I thought it was fucked back then can't imagine what it's like now 😂
The bad stuff you hear is limited only certain places in the big cities. You can still have that beach/outdoors life. If you don’t believe, come and see for yourself. There are beach towns north of Ventura you might like and Huntington Beach and south, all great places and the best weather in the country.
