You guys are going into this with the right idea. It’s the same world with new people and a new story. I heard someone else say they remembered when Aang’s story started off a little slower but really picked up in book 2 and 3. I’ll say that Book 3 of Korra rivals the best of Avatar the Last Airbender
It's not Avatar but that doesn't mean it's bad! Definitely give it a shot, it has some amazing moments and storylines down the road
Hearing "My father, Avatar Aang" for the first time is mindblowing
omg i can’t wait to see their reactions of some specific episodes
As a long time ATLA fan I really enjoyed watching through it again with you guys reacting - super excited for this series! Definitely keep doing this
More than a decade later and I just now realized Tenzin is J.K. Simmons aka J. Jonah Jameson from Spider-Man 😵 And I may be remembering wrong, but I think Lin Beifong's voice actress is the principal from iCarly, if anyone here watched that show. I also love the 1940s feel to this premiere.
At the end of ATLA they tease you with Zuko's mom plot line... Now they did it again
It's like they're dangling it right in front of your face, but you gotta go read the comics (or watch a video about it) to know
It's been 11 years since I first watched this show. I've watched many TH-camrs react to this over the years and it was only on this reaction that I realized that Sato-mobiles rhymes with/is a play on automobiles...
My kid and I have watched this show and AtLA over and over. Trust it is really good. More bending, more friendships, more bad guys...
This I’m excited to see your reaction to ! Legend of Korra it’s my favorite
So excited!!!
saw this comment somewhere that differentiates korra and aang and their avatar-being:
korra as “the avatar becomes human”
aang as “a human becomes the avatar”

Avatar Korra is indeed built different: look how muscular she is.
OMG you guys are spoiling me 😍🔥💪🏾
Fun fact: the voice actor for amon also did the dub voice for orochimaru in Naruto
Book 3 hands down, gonna blow your mind.
One thing about Korra and fighting….you wanna razzle, she’ll dazzle🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The earth bender in the intro is Kyoshi
About Zuko’s mom, formation of Republic City, and the fate of Azula…. Check out the comics they released. It chronicles the events between ATLA AND LOK eras. :)
love legend of korra keep watching! but like you said remember its a different story and I think you'll enjoy it
Loved the atla reactions, excited for korra!
yessss starting TLOK series. a lil side note that u guys should know is that TLOK was only meant to be one season, every season. so if it feels rushed or incoherent with the plot that's why but it honestly still all ties together with the lore and really good it dives deeper into the Atla universe as well
I love Korra. I think you'll enjoy it too if you think of it as it's own thing instead of a direct continuation of AtLA
I understand that the first few episodes, you guys will still compare it to ATLA, look for similarities, look for the things you always love about the previous series and expect this and that that used to be from the past, but I do hope that in time, you guys will realize that LOK is a different show, it will eventually try to be a separate show that is more than what ATLA used to be and be okay with that. When you start to accept that this is a stand alone show and not a continuation of the past, then you will also start to appreciate the world, the new characters and the stories and themes LOK are presenting us. Thank you so much for reacting to LOK. This is one of my most favorite shows of all time.
bro already hitting on kind of the key theme of the whole series 5:00
omg I can't wait for you to meet Amon. S1 and 3 are my favorite
They're gangsters, they're benders, they're GangBenders
“i wonder if she’s gonna have her own crew” no she’ll have a Krew
did that man really just say new orleans??? lmaoooo
"It really took just 1 episode to go to jail" 🤣
