I immediately made a theory that Kaveh is a synthetic or a cyborg but I believe more in the latter, since synthetics doesn't look like him. Kaveh being a cyborg could be pretty cool and I would guess he somehow fused with Mekrah since we don't see it here, Mekrah could be the name of Kaveh's system. And considering Kaveh's in-game character story and personality, I would also make a slightly disturbing theory/headcanon that Kaveh willingly turned himself into a cyborg to fully commit himself to his craft, he sacrificed a part of himself for his hopes and dreams. I don't know really. But it's a random theory I made up moment I saw him. Thanks for hearing my weird headcanon

The way Dillon weaved Genshin lore into this story is amazing! I think I appreciate this series 10x more having first experienced the story in Genshin Impact
Genshin is basically this but set in a medieval world following a different story. The characters here have been altered slightly to fit the futuristic world - sadly Albedo doesn't get that much of a role as of yet, but he does have ties to a very mysterious and important character. Also you'll get to meet Sucrose, who seems to have died in this timeline (I hope she comes back somehow - maybe L-13's healing abilities could work on her if they still have her body, since that would help heal his trauma) and you'll realise just how cruel the war in this timeline is: of all the people, Sucrose was too kind for the fate she seems to have met
Adding to what TotherKoala said, here Raiden Ei (the non broken one) and Scaramouche (Net Nomad) don't have this relationship 😭😭 since Ei left him abandoned since he had too much human emotions for handle a "gnosis" (a physical representation of an Archon [God] power in someway) neither she wanted to destroy him. So Scara dislike her till death, and so Kaveh isn't from Neo-Inazuma (Inazuma) but from another nation called Sumeru in-game

God, this is amazing. The models are exceptional, they have a great simple sytle. The body motions and expresions are top notch for showing emotions and the voice acting backs it so well. Genuinely look forward to everything you produce.
This cliffhanger has me hooked, what's going on with L-1's backstory? Is was Mona a real human at some point? Why is the earth green and stuff when it's a wasteland now? How long has L-1 existed? Why was Mona in her Genshin outfit? Does this story have something to directly link it to og Genshin? L-1 seemed so kind... What happened? The way they tricked him is amazing!!! Also... The not so subtle flirting on Yae Miko's part has me cackling... The implication that Raiden would want her in her office for other means than security??? HELLO? I can't belive I caught this episode only 12 mins after it came out... I'm so exited for more!! I litterally almost squealed when Kaveh showed up, like?? HE IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!! This cliffhanger has me hooked, what's going on with L-1's backstory? Is was Mona a real human at some point? Why is the earth green and stuff when it's a wasteland now? How long has L-1 existed? Why was Mona in her Genshin outfit? Does this story have something to directly link it to og Genshin? L-1 seemed so kind... What happened? The way they tricked him is amazing!!! Also... The not so subtle flirting on Yae Miko's part has me cackling... The implication that Raiden would want her in her office for other means than security??? HELLO? I can't belive I caught this episode only 12 mins after it came out... I'm so exited for more!! I litterally almost squealed when Kaveh showed up, like?? HE IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!! WILL WE GET AN ALHAITHEM TOO? IS KAVEH A MEHCANIC INSTEAD OF AN ARCHITECT??? I KNOW HE'S NOT A MAIN CHARACTER BUT I FUCKING LOVE HIS DESIHGN OH MH GOD!!! The whole water thing he has going on is so cool? What's up with that? Will we get more on that? I love this so much, can't wait for more!! AND HIS ANIMATION??? It's so bouncy and expressive??? Probably my favorite part of the show in terms of the animation... THIS IS SO COOL!!!
Miko is so peak here, her behavior and design~ and yeah i wondered about that too why mona had her genshin outfit.... also, the cat albedo revived looked awfully similiar to the cat mona was attached to in the cat house Event where u could pet the cats...
Also i think L-1 was the first bot made after albedo, maybe could even see he killed the original one and just has his memories or something. Cause as u said, albedo in the memory was super nice.
Also think its connected to original genshin. Who knows maybe technology advanced and the incident why people fled underground was the judgement that mavuika is preparing for and mentioned
