I have ran Nitto Mud Grapplers for years.. They perform in every category well except for noise lol.. You get used to them after a while.. I do have a 1500 mile trip coming up and thinking some Toyo MT might be nice 😂
Did you have to make any controller config changes? i.e. changing to hydraulic over electric, or from drum to disc? I've heard that with some controllers, you will not get the full performance and may even eventually damage the actuator if the controller remains setup for electric drum while using EOH Disc.
I have read of incompatibity issues with certain factory OEM controllers and OP's have resorted to using after-market controllers. Controller's and associated firmware change year to year so give the manufacturer of the conversion kit a phone call to verify possible issues. Also the controllers are not tandem so if you have a hydraulic leak anywhere in the system it disables the entire trailer brakes.
Nice job
Thanks!
Did the Kodiak system electric over hydraulic on my toy hauler about 10 years ago, has work amazing.
You deserve more followers sir, great video !
Thanks!
Definitely like the brake upgrade. Nice video. How do you live with those tires on your truck? 🤪
Running Nitto Trails now on my new truck. I like the mud grapps every once in a while..

Thanks!
Nice upgrade. Gotta see what your suspension looks like. Still loving that tractor 🚜.
Thanks!!
Do you mind sharing what all you spent on the particular kit you used?
I can’t remember exactly. Call them for a quote..
Love the break upgrade, but how do you deal with the tire drone on your truck.

@@RockyRohde I run the Toyo at3's just because of the low noise and I love them. Your tires would drive me insane hehe.. personal pet peeve.
It’s so you can’t hear your wife its peaceful lol😂
Nice upgrade. I bet your gain is set at 1 or 1.5? Is it on Heavy electric? Or maybe you don't use the electric setting since no magnets?
I set it to electric over hydraulic. Gain seems to be good about 7
