  • Hey guys,
    This is part one of the first day fishing in gippsland with Dylan, with things starting to get a bit more serious with coronavirus we loaded up our Hobie Outbacks, a bunch of camping gear and some food and made our way to gippsland. This trip the main target was big bream but there are plenty of other species available in the area we planned to visit. It was a cracking trip away, with tons of fish caught and some great quality fish too, we were luck enough to be able to use surface lures for the majority of the day with OSP bent minnows proving a real standout.

    Love tossing bent's for trout but never tried on the Bream are there areas of Lake Tyres clear enough to try these land based ?

    • @HawkesyFishing
      @HawkesyFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, they go well down there. Plenty of places to use the land based in Gippsland. I don't know Tyers super well but there should be plenty of places they'll produce off the bank

    What colour do you find most effective?

    • @HawkesyFishing
      @HawkesyFishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Theres a lot of good colours in the range but pink head (p74) and super wakasagi (gf76) are reliable choices
