A few months ago I was watching the 25th anniversary of Les Mis, and my dad came in the room just at the beginning of Bring Him Home. Now, we are italians, I was watching it without subtitles and my dad really doesn't understand a world of english, so he didn't undertand any lyrics. Despite that, he cried like a fountain for the whole song, just because of Alfie's voice. Alfie Boe is a miracle. I would put him up there with Pavarotti and Domingo any day. (sorry for my english!)
I saw Mr. Boe on January 6th - from the front row! Blew me away. Two of my daughters and I drove from Michigan to see him and it was more than worth it - we agreed we would go back in a heartbeat. The man not only has an incredible voice, but is also a humble and real person with such heart and warmth (we were fortunate enough to exchange a few words with him after the performance after waiting outside for the cast to emerge - something I have never done before). This was evidenced by the way he spent time with each of his fans - talking and taking pictures - his sincerity was touching and my daughters and I are now solid, lifelong fans. Our hats off to you Mr. Boe!
Alfie Boe, you are the BEST JVJ! Was lucky to see you over the last four years in many venues and 3 times in NYC as JVJ. Thanks for answering the questions. Always great to see/hear you perform and extra special to see/hear you speak as just you. Thank you for sharing your beautiful gift on Broadway. It's always so wonderful having you perform here in the states. Hoping you're doing more Broadway and touring here in 2016. Have a Happy New Year. Xx

What a lovely man! I was lucky enough to see him as Valjean when he was playing the role in London, but unfortunately am not going to get to NYC in time to see him again. Can't wait to see what you do next, Alfie! x

That's Jean Valjean...*sigh* Alright, here we go again: You may have seen me before, and I am commenting again on a Broadway.com video because I feel that the comments section is very empty. I have noticed this for a long time, and it really frustrates me. People like Sierra Boggess and Adam Pascal will be in a video, and whereas a channel like Buzzfeed would get instant and "first"s and people making innuendos on how early they came, I feel like there's no one here, which is, again, ridiculous when the people shown in the video deserve the same amount of attention, if not more. I am aware that some people watch the videos on Broadway.com where they can't comment, but I still feel like these actors and actresses need a little more love on TH-cam!

I'm thinking that I'll post comments like these on future under-commented Broadway.com videos (maybe not so much vlogs or weekly updates) and see if I can get more comments in the comments section. I'm not sure how well this will stick, it might not work out at all, but when I mentioned it in a comment on the Norm Lewis video, I was pleasantly surprised at the number of people who replied.
