Dear Victoria, I did not know how to get a message to you. I cooked your popovers and split pea crock pot soup. They were great. Later I made the soup again and made the mistake of using leftover diced tomatoes, My peas were crunchy!! I won't do that again. Sister Mary Ignatius O.C.D.
Hahah your so sweet and funny!!! And yeah.. I was jealous!! So jealous that I gotta make this myself!!! Haha! Thanks for posting!! More videos please!!! I'm addicted! :) God bless!
Yes you can use any tomato sauce. This one was I made like in Moroccan Recipes - Shakshuka - Poached Eggs In Tomato Sauce without eggs. Just the sauce. The link to the video in description box.
I love pork and this looks fantastic indeed. So the tomato sauce can be a complete Shakshuka arrangement with the egg and enough to fill a large jar. I do not have a shredder so can I cut the carrots in wheels perhaps? Thank you for this post. 💖
thank goodness for crock pots ehh Victoria they can makes the cheapest meats very tender using vinagar also will help with the tenderness i have your beautiful crock pot meats balls twice now hit every time>> diane
Dear Victoria, it is Gulyas, not Goulash. I am Hungarian, so I know this... since it is originally a Hungarian dish. This is not really a Gulyas recipe but it is certainly a very delicious recipe. I will cook it right now. Thank you!
Instead of pork you can add more vegetables like zucchini, eggplants, sweet potatoes or caned beans and make it 100% vegetarian. Thank you for stopping by!
Love your recipes Thankyou from England x

Very nice. I never thought of using pork in goulash. The recipe I make is one I got from our mother. This looks very tasty!
I always love a good crock pot recipe and this goulash stew has me excited to try it. Perfect for this time of year. And yes, I am jealous :-)

Thanks. Old school cooking wasn't "chefy" at all. Large unpealed potatoes, large garlik shanks. You can make it smaller if you want.
what was in your tomato sauce?
looks very tasty ... i'm going to make this next week. i've subscribed to you:)
You are welcome Victoria.
I love your accent! :D

how long on low?
I would say about 8-10 hours or until the potatoes are fork tender.
