This covid19 virus is manifesting a lot of human kindness and love to help each other no matter what nationality, station in life ( rich/poor) etc. There are many good samaritans around us! One of the greatest miracles we are given from God is the opportunity to be charitable, self sacrificing to our neighbor by being the earthly hand to bring assistance. When I awoke from the WT teaching I found it overwhelming how many opportunities we are each given to be an active participant in miracles if we are not blinded by "belief".
I loved this video. My wife and i are ex witnesses. When we learned so many teachings that were not scriptural, we decided to write a letter of dissociation to them. We are still lovers of the truth and are no way apostates that we are labeled by then. They are very cold to us and won’t even look at us when passing, or even give a friendly smile. They treat total strangers better than other lovers of Christ. Because we do not adhere to ALL their beliefs and teachings, we are considered apostates. What happened to LOVE your neighbor ? It’s sad that the witnesses have this viewpoint. I have so much more to tell but this is not the place. Thank you for being a true believer in GODS word and not MANS word.
Sorry about your situation Scott. I would like to offer you some comfort if i may. It is foretold that God would raise up a prophet like Elijah who would "restore all things" (all Bible truth and justice) (Matt. 17:11). He will clear out all false teachings from spiritual "Israel" just like Elijah did. That will include the cruel, unchristian, and unbiblical false doctrine of shunning (disfellowshiping) which "turns the hearts of fathers away from their sons" and vice versa (or children from their parents and parents from their children). In other words, he will restore families torn apart by that false doctrine. In fact, that is the very first act of restoration that he will accomplish. If he does not do this, Jehovah will destroy the entire earth, including his own people (please read Malachi 4:5,6). Strong words those! There is so much more that i can tell you but i could be here quite some time! I know your suffering as i am experiencing similar, and worse. Much worse. I know who the prophet Elijah is. Paul.
Eric. Thank you very much for you seremonies. You very true about what is going on in WT organization. I know it from my personal experiences. They are very proud and self-righteous. Not all but most. In our congregation almost all brothers and sisters only respect elders. If you are not elders or at least ministerial servant you will never get invitation in their home. Only one sister invited us to diner. She is very good and really care about people. Only she respect others for what they are. Others only care about status in congregation. From 40 only one is good. Jewish leaders were bad but WT is worse.

So dad didn't park the van in the car park on Sundays Thursdays and all the brothers would stop on the way out from the hall and get there fresh bread...hahaha one of the reasons my dad was never made a MS OR a Elder. ...but we always had brothers and sisters.bethelites pioneers, circut overseers over for dinner through out the weekends lunch on.sundays.before the preaching work. we had the book studies at our house from when I was born and the the field service as well. Quick builds was his and my total enjoyment we never missed one and the branch building. He was good enough for all of that as well as fixing there cars and all other manner of things. but never got a promotion. Because he called a spade a spade no matter who you were...

Only beyond that point, do the 3 gospel writers depart into different tangents of what Jesus said. Which, through the use of parables were intended primarily as warnings, to remain awake and keep in expectation (not prophetic). The interpretation of Matt 24:45 as a prophetic parable, is nothing more than a lame excuse. The argument that Matt24:45 is part of the prophecy and therefore prophetic in nature, has never really proved satisfactory to me. To regard Matt 24:45 as a prophetic parable is nothing more than a dishonest excuse, to justify a grasp for power. To consider oneself as a faithful and discreet slave by ones own declaration . Is equal to a presumptuous self appointment.

ESV QUESTION: If Rome is the "abomination of desolation ... standing in the holy place," How could the people flee to the mountains? The point being, if Rome was occupying the temple in Jerusalem it means they were in full control of the very heart of the city..If this happened in 70 AD, How can the people be encouraged to flee if the Roman armies were already in control of the city and all of Judea? Placing this event in 70 AD would make no sense, would it not? How can you flee after the city has fallen? Thank you.
Thank you for your reply. I'm sure you understand that it is a little too easy to simply dismiss the premise as flawed and that the historical record doesn't support it. Why is the premise incorrect? And, How does the historical record fail to support it? The simple fact is that the natural reading of verses 15 and 16 clearly places the Romans in the temple (occupying Jerusalem) prior to the exhortation to flee to the mountains. If the Romans were occupying Jerusalem (the capital) then by this time all of Judea would have been already under their control. How would escape be possible? Would not those trying to flee run straight into the arms of the Romans? How is the premise flawed? Thank you
@@ag2990 If I can explain. Your premise is flawed because its not the occupation of Jerusalem, but the temple that is the focal point of Jesus prophecy. Jerusalem would not only be surrounded by encamped armies intent on battle, but they would also see a disgusting thing standing in a holy place. The holy place could only be referring to the temple. When the Jews saw the Roman armies in 66 CE lead by general Cestius Gallius fight to recapture Jerusalem. Enter the city. Penetrate the outer wall and breach the inner-wall of the temple. Here was the disgusting thing standing in a holly place as spoken by Daniel the prophet. But the amazing aspect of the prophecy was this. That when the Romans reached the point where victory was well within their grasp, they inexplicably withdrew in fulfillment of Jesus prophecy. That decision to withdrawal was nothing short of insanity from a Roman perspective. Because instead of easily winning from a position of strength. The Romans suffered incalculable losses as a consequence of that decision. This allowed those who had witnessed the events and believed the prophecy, to use their discernment and escape. Before the Romans returned in 70 CE to complete the job. And completely destroy Jerusalem and the temple. For a detailed account you should read Flavius Josephus, history of the Jews. The Roman occupation was obviously not at the heart of Jesus prophecy, the complete destruction of the temple was! Daniel indicated that Jerusalem and the temple would be rebuilt. Prior to Messiah's arrival in Jerusalem. Messiah would subsequently be killed, and Jerusalem and the temple destroyed again. The fact that the temple was never rebuilt again is absolute proof that Jesus was and is the Messiah. Because no other subsequent contender or pretender, can fulfill the prophecy, that Messiah was to come to Jerusalem's temple to bring the old covenant to an end. I hope that this has helped to answer your question.

Rita, I know how you feel--but we have to try to remember that learning is always an ongoing process; we know that if we keep asking for truth, our Father will reveal it to us. Matthew 7:7-8 tells us that for sure! Please don't worry, but pray for understanding. "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
Rita Malik I think we are all learning. Pray before you start and ask for wisdom, help and Holy Spirit to understand. And remember that our prayer gets to Jehovah through Christ. Are we allowed to worship Jesus?
Matthew 24:15 -16 says, "So when you see the abomination of desolation ... standing in the holy place ... then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains." ESV
QUESTION: If Rome is the "abomination of desolation ... standing in the holy place," How could the people flee to the mountains?
The point being, if Rome was occupying the temple in Jerusalem it means they were in full control of the very heart of the city..If this happened in 70 AD, How can the people be encouraged to flee if the Roman armies were already in control of the city and all of Judea?
Placing this event in 70 AD would make no sense, would it not? How can you flee after the city has fallen?

I'm sure you understand that it is a little too easy to simply dismiss the premise as flawed and that the historical record doesn't support it.
Why is the premise incorrect? And, How does the historical record fail to support it?
The simple fact is that the natural reading of verses 15 and 16 clearly places the Romans in the temple (occupying Jerusalem) prior to the exhortation to flee to the mountains. If the Romans were occupying Jerusalem (the capital) then by this time all of Judea would have been already under their control.
How would escape be possible? Would not those trying to flee run straight into the arms of the Romans?

@@ag2990 If I can explain. Your premise is flawed because its not the occupation of Jerusalem, but the temple that is the focal point of Jesus prophecy. Jerusalem would not only be surrounded by encamped armies intent on battle, but they would also see a disgusting thing standing in a holy place. The holy place could only be referring to the temple. When the Jews saw the Roman armies in 66 CE lead by general Cestius Gallius fight to recapture Jerusalem. Enter the city. Penetrate the outer wall and breach the inner-wall of the temple. Here was the disgusting thing standing in a holly place as spoken by Daniel the prophet. But the amazing aspect of the prophecy was this. That when the Romans reached the point where victory was well within their grasp, they inexplicably withdrew in fulfillment of Jesus prophecy. That decision to withdrawal was nothing short of insanity from a Roman perspective. Because instead of easily winning from a position of strength. The Romans suffered incalculable losses as a consequence of that decision. This allowed those who had witnessed the events and believed the prophecy, to use their discernment and escape. Before the Romans returned in 70 CE to complete the job. And completely destroy Jerusalem and the temple. For a detailed account you should read Flavius Josephus, history of the Jews. The Roman occupation was obviously not at the heart of Jesus prophecy, the complete destruction of the temple was! Daniel indicated that Jerusalem and the temple would be rebuilt. Prior to Messiah's arrival in Jerusalem. Messiah would subsequently be killed, and Jerusalem and the temple destroyed again. The fact that the temple was never rebuilt again is absolute proof that Jesus was and is the Messiah. Because no other subsequent contender or pretender, can fulfill the prophecy, that Messiah was to come to Jerusalem's temple to bring the old covenant to an end. I hope that this has helped to answer your question.

Maybe try writing it on your notepad, then doing a copy and paste?
So Jesus is inactive, even though he's invisible, and he's not with us until the conclusion of this system of things, and he will not go subduing in the mist of his enemies, ultimately stopping the riders of those other 3 horses. Just how active is Jesus supposed to be?

I have not finished yet but I’m concerned that because I don’t understand the bible ( parables) some of it would that mean my eyes are blinded by God?, cause I’m not as I can put it, one if his?
Rita, I know how you feel--but we have to try to remember that learning is always an ongoing process; we know that if we keep asking for truth, our Father will reveal it to us. Matthew 7:7-8 tells us that for sure! Please don't worry, but pray for understanding. "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
Rita Malik I think we are all learning. Pray before you start and ask for wisdom, help and Holy Spirit to understand. And remember that our prayer gets to Jehovah through Christ. I watch Eric's videos more than once. I find that if I did not understand something i will once i watch it again or sometimes you miss something.
I was just asked my wife how it cold be possible for anyone not to understand them. They appear very clear to me, thanks to God. I will pray for you in hope you too will see clearly. Have you tried praying and asking for Gods holly spirit and wisdom and the ability to understand what God wants us to learn? It truly does help to have the Holy Spirit present while reading scripture. God bless!

Matthew 24:45 is not a parable but is a prophecy concerning one Christian slave potentially appointed by Christ himself to give Christs true sheep spiritual food at the right time. Currently there is no FDS.
