    I have that bike!!! I'm here in the US and I had to replace my Cannondale after an accident. I was able to find it July 24, 2020 in the middle of the pandemic so I was very lucky. Coming from an aluminum bike, the SL5 feels very comfortable. So much of the small vibrations are gone. The 28c tires add to endurance. I had changed to a slammed integrated handlebar for 2021 and she looks sweet. I call her CherylTiegs. Enjoy.

      If every second matters and your aiming to be hillclimb champion then yeah, weight matters, in that case, go for the emonda SLR. For me, the new aggressive position, the aero tube shapes has by far made up for the weight penalty. I previously been riding the 2019 emonda slr, in that setup my bike is over a kilogram lighter, i still have it with me right now. And i prefer my new bike over the old one. I also live in an island with super hilly roads. You can check my other vlogs to look for proof

    Nice bike bro! Have you ever thought of getting a flat aero bar or a bar and stem combo to make your bike more aero? Be safe...

    • @KristianeLim
      @KristianeLim  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      yes i have considered it. but i really cant find a bar that is at least 38cm with a 110cm stem. 38cm bars tend to have 90cm stems.

    Just bought one Boss Lim(radioactive red). we have the same height and bike frame size. The only diff is our weight. You are 60kg and I'm 80kg. lols.. My best upgrade would be self weight reduction.. hahaha Nice review by the way..

    Stock this bike is over 9kg! Why anyone would choose this as a climbing bike is beyond me. It’s more like a winter training bike! Nice review though.

    • @KristianeLim
      @KristianeLim  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I changed all of the parts of an SL5 and only kept the frame. The stock SL5 is entry level to keep the cost low. And yes, i wouldnt recomend it as a climbing bike if it was stock. My bike is spec’ed as an SL6 Pro. Ultegra groupset, aeolus carbon rims
