This city looks so compact yet so livable with vibrant color buildings and lively events. The water installstions and activities are definitely unique here. A seemingly cold city is actually very warm.
Another well done video! I haven’t been to Spokane since the Expo ‘74 so it was nice to see the city again. I enjoy your content very much. You have a great voice!
Another fine addition to your collection. I really enjoyed the views of those immense downtown waterfalls. Great buildings showcased as well. You’ve done some really interesting and surprising cities this year. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next. From David in Houston 🥇⭐️😎🏆♥️
I do want to visit some day. It seems like a very sleepy city, especially compared to similarly sized Tacoma on the other side of the state, but it also seems gorgeous and historic
Thanks for the feedback! I guess I’m just not as confident talking through something like that if I haven’t lived there, which is why that isn’t something I’ve included in these videos.
I noticed you missed the tent cities, the piles of stolen stuff behind the encampments, the boarded up building that have been stripped of copper wiring, also missed 😀

“Spokane Falls is the largest and most impressive urban waterfall in the country”. I’ll give you that Spokane Falls is usually more impressive than the similarly-tall High Falls of Rochester NY, but dude… *Niagara Falls exists*
It depends on how an urban waterfall is defined. Obviously Niagara Falls is larger but it's not considered an "urban waterfall" in the same way. I probably should have mentioned that though in the video.
@@CityGeek I mean, I think people generally understand what is meant by "urban waterfall" such that it didn't need to be explicitly defined. That is unless Niagara Falls somehow doesn't count? For that, I'm definitely going to need a defintion.
I enjoyed the content and info, but using the exact same words in every video just makes them sound scripted and therefore less enjoyable to watch. Follow a rough outline, but shake things up a bit.
I finally visited Spokane for a day last summer and enjoyed it. It's a nice little city with a downtown that packs well above its weight.
Thanks. Keep 'em coming. I've driven through Spokane many times but have never stopped to explore.
Thanks for the encouragement! I’ll hopefully get another one out before Christmas

My wife was born in Spokane. It's nice to see this town highlighted.
Thanks for featuring Spokane. I attend college there.
What college do you attend?
It’s a cool city to visit, especially if you go at the right time of year. The architecture is definitely a highlight.

Thank you!! And that’s cool that you were at the Expo 74!
Came from salt lake video, I’ve watched every city TH-camr and you are the most informative and entertaining to watch
Wow, that means a lot! Thank you!
Spokane is an awesome little town with a downtown that is quite impressive. The falls are also amazing.
Nice. Spokane is our next U.S. destination so this is good to see right now 👍
That was good timing!
Really enjoy your videos. I also a City geek, a history nerd, and I love looking at different skylines and buildings, which your videos hit all 3. 😎
Thank you!! I’m glad you found my channel 😊
The clock tower was a part of the old train station that sat on the site of the Expo 74

Thanks David!! I always appreciate your comments!
Great video I knew nothing about Spokane Washington and I’m glad I watched it. ❤
Thanks! 🙏

Definitely not sleepy😂 and mind you I've been to many large cities including Tokyo.
I’d love to see a video on Riverside CA/the Inland Empire! We’re always forgotten lol, even with a metro of 4.5m people.
Great video
Thank you!!
4:27 Minor error here, I think you meant 1895, not 1985, for when the flour mill was built 🙂Looks like a beautiful city!
Best in the west 🌲💎
I wish your videos talked about what it's like to live there. I wonder how different Spokane is compared to Seattle and Portland.

The Inland Northwest is awesome, and Spokane is its heart🤘 I love this city, even with all its flaws!
And NO! I do not live there
Can you do Missoula, MT?
I'll look into it! Thanks for the suggestion!
You should do Midland Tx it has an impressive skyline for its population of 100k

They do make White's Boots in Spokane

Hey Jerry!
I visited 2016 and liked the small city feel, but it's out in nowhere.
Regarding the construction year of the Spokane Flour Mill, I assume you meant to say 1885?
Thanks for pointing that out! I'll fix that in the description.
let's go spo-compton!
Can you do Youngstown Ohio.
As a single mom with a-7-years old son, I live anywhere as long as jobs available there.
Those wooden houses look like old traditional russian buildings.
Spokane is a great working-class town.

Is Niagara Falls actually urban? Or just some town?
